Just remember for electrical items, it's 240 volts in Thailand not 120 volts as in the USA.

According to the schematic provided by Dellboy, the GFA-555 has dual 120v primaries wired in parallel, so it should be easy to wire them in series for 240v (if you know what you're doing).

It was Neville Chamberlain who declared war on Germany, not Winston Churchill who was First Lord of the Admiralty in the war cabinet.

How about a micro brewery?

I find the Citylife food guide useful, but there seem to be few reviews, Charlies fish and chips only has 1! It would be great if reviews were posted there, which would make them easier to find, unlike TV.

From Citylife:
Yangzi Jiang
Comment: For fabulous Chinese food, look no further than Yangzi Jiang: this recently opened restaurant is set to join the ranks of Chiang Mai's finest eateries. Located in an elegant old home just off Nimmanhaemin Road, Yangzi Jiang offers superb, authentic cuisine in an intimate setting. The restaurant interior is stylishly decorated with black glass table tops and a dark parquet floor complemented with vivid splashes of red, while staff members are friendly, quietly attentive and attractively dressed in crimson mandarin collar uniforms. The menu offers a wide selection of classic Chinese dishes, including dim sum, barbequed suckling pig and roasted Peking duck, as well as more exotic concoctions for the adventurous palate, such as steamed chicken feet with chilli sauce, Mexican abalone, Japanese scallops, and fish maw in rich broth. Prices are on the high side, but the quality of the cuisine makes the spend well worth it.
Address: 10 Nimmanhaemin Road, Soi 5
Time Open: 10:00 am - 10:00 pm
Telephone: 053 225 313

From Citylife:
Pad Tai Tha Pae
Known for its fresh home made noodles. Great place to stop to pick up pad tai to take away, as it's all wrapped up in banana leaf.
Address: No longer on Tha Pae, on Sitthiwong Road which leads toward Chang Moi Road, unfortunately it is one way, so best to park on Chang Moi and walk up the soi. It's on the left.
Time Open: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm

On my first week on holiday in Chiang Mai a month ago I had a sore throat and high temperature (102), lasted about a week. Doubt if you caught it from me, although I did speak to you at the Red Lion and Guitarman! Get well soon.

And as a correction to the correction of your earlier correction it should read: ±0.005 inches or 1/5000th of an inch.
I think.
I think you will find ±0.005 inches = 1/200th of an inch

I think the "certain look." comment gives it away!
