I've had loads of stuff, military uniform and civilian clothes made at George Barons place.
Highly recommend them. Barons

Sounds like a dodgy alternator/charging cct (not familiar with the model) or a short.

No sympathy really, try pressing 9 for Thai when in England.
And how many Thai speakers are there in England?
Plenty, not to mention Indian, Bangladeshi, Polish etc. Learn the host country language it's not hard, makes your life so much easier.
-
So you got some competition, you'll just have to work hard to be better. Most of us have competition in what we do, I believe I read somewhere that it is healthy.

Go ahead and write it, if it's any good the publisher's will polish it for you, but do you really believe there is a market for book on Iraq 1990-1991
Yeah, it's not like anything happened then right? There have been quite a few successful books based on or around Desert Shield/Storm. Good luck.

That is a thing of beauty. Nice bike dude. I miss my FatBoy, I am riding a dam_n dirt bike now because the roads where I live are no good.

I got one a while ago in Tesco Lotus, they still sell them although the only ones I have seen are white.

The importance of washing your hands frequently can't be overstated, considering a lot of Thais wipe their backsides with their hands and you touch the same railings etc. as you do. First thing I do when I get in from anywhere is wash my hands thoroughly.

Dressed like that you have to wonder if he caught her with someone else. Still hope he goes to jail for a very long time though.
-
Very smart I usually expect better from people who learned to drive in developed countries but alas.... Let's hope you don't cause an accident next time.

I always use Trip advisor to get reviews and then I book through Agoda, good service so far.

Respected??? Dont think so.. Also not by a lot of the Thais..
It is true. Parents are proud when the son is a cop or a teacher or a soldier.

You sure can, my sister got a car and she doesn't have a license.
-
It's not a general thing in Issan. Before breakfast in the in laws house the sister in law makes food, niece washes the dishes and mother in law (or my Mrs if we are there) sweeps the house. Poverty is no excuse for laziness.

Mind you those emulators can be pretty crap. I have an intel mac now so I can boot up in windows for problem software, maybe you could go into a mac shop, they are all over the place, I had problems with an external drive and they were very helpful, they could at least try and run it on an intel mac and may even be able to recommend a course of action for you, are you in the centre of Bangkok?
I have two intels (laptops) and a G5. One laptop uses Parralles Desktop, the other reboots as a Windows computer. None will run the CDs.
I'm close enough to Paragon (they have a decent Mac shop with helpful employees). But I'll try this download first to see if that's the problem.
I've never had a windows programme that won't run on the intel mac, I guess there might be a problem with the disc then, sorry can't be much more help. Good luck.

Take your shades off !

I thought the marriage visa was based on marriage to a Thai national, could be wrong though.
-
Yeah, having a mac freaks them out too, I had to show the "engineer" who came to install my internet how to configure the router, nice guy just not very technical (not good for a service engineer).
-
So you can't go in with the emulator and open the .exe files either?
It won't run it for some reason.
(I'm not PC savvy - I only use it for software that won't run on a Mac)

People are always talking about massacres when students get shot, muslims get thrown in trucks and people stand in front of tanks. Guess what, if they do as they are told and go home these things would never happen.

(BangkokPost.com) – About 70% of people questioned in a survey conducted by Bangkok University disagreed with the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD)'s moves to topple the government.
I never knew this, must have missed this one. Wonder if it is true.
do you have a detailed link? I could not find it.
thx

Apple Retail Stores Have Now Begun Selling
in IT and Computers

They will try to sell as many as they can now that the likes of Blackberry, Palm and Nokia all appear to have better alternatives to the iPhone.
