  1. Guess you have to check the Terms of travel with AA, whether body odor is in any way mentioned or be limited? guess not

Then, you have to define a method of measurement to reflect what body odor is acceptable , which is tolerable and which is offending;guess there is not one as smell is a very subjective issue.

Then each plane should have that measuring device or trained nose? to confirm that the body odor  falls in the unacceptable category, guess there is not.

Good luck to the mal-treated passengers.

  2. a quick view at the startlink website did not show me whether available in Thailand

but an estimated cost of €65/mo {2210 baht/month} with a one-time hardware cost

    of €450 { baht 15.300}

no thanks as I have a reliable fast glassfibre contract for 1 GB/s for about a quarter of this cost without one time costs! but than, I am happy to live in a rural village in the North of Thailand.

  3. archery is very popular in Thailand and my grandson is shooting regular tournements in Rayong, Chonbury , Lampang, Phrae. He is using imported bows as his trainer and club suggests that Thailand does not make bows.

check N.A.A.T. National archery association of Thailand, they will have clubs in your neighbourhood for a start in your search.

  4. got the same form for my Dutch AOW, but that is fully electronic these days. form send by email, via a secured DigiD system.

you print some forms , we have to have approved by the Thai Social Security office, than scan and send back electronically via DigiD system. after some days, I received confirmation from the office that my papers were received.

  5. @Groenen, please be reminded, that if  you receive AOW, yearly you have to fill a Life certificate and get it approved by the Thai Social Security (TSS) office. That paper has info on your (thai) partner/ wife.

Now I also got last week a new paper, requesting me to specify my yearly income and also the income from my partner/wife. Also that paper needs approval and signature from TSS.

So more and more information on you and your partner/wife is collected.

Well this is a disaster just waiting to happen.

With all the low quality knock-offs and poor standards (of every kind) already being used, where on earth does she get the idea that letting individuals produce liquor for commercial purposes will "protect the health and safety of consumers" ??????

I keep think of the videos I've seen of people making the "juice" you see being sold in small plastic bottles at roadside vendors. You know, like the "orange juice" sold in unlabelled bottles.

That's made by people dumping loads of commercially made juice into a washtub and then adding water (to dilute it) and maybe some sugar to cover up the weaker taste, then filling the bottles by submerging them in the tub with the same bare hands they had probably just used to wipe their butts with (or picked their nose with) and then screwing on the lids.

Now imagine those same people making alcohol in the same way and then selling it commercially.

In the article it quotes the spokesperson:

(SMEs - Small/Medium Enterprises, not "Subject Matter Experts".)

Yeah, just like hotels/condo buildings/nightclubs are supposed to meet safety standards as well, which are also rigously enforced. 234477330_whistle.gif.7d03b83886b0a73985926d1677f03493.gif.5d5f6d2381342822b0859b96fa92357c.gif

And what will happen when a few hundred people die from alcohol poisoning ? And a few hundred more from lead poisoning ? And a few hundred more from ingesting alcohol laced with insecticides/anti-freeze ?

Oh right, a two day crackdown on (known) producers and then everything continues as per normal. Again. And again.

(Speaking of unsafe standards. I visited a friend at the apartment building he moved into. The steel "screen" doors at every Fire Escape are locked with padlocks. Good luck getting out if there's a fire.)

It looks like you are not in favour of this change
