This a pedestrian crossing that gives a green light to the cars and pedestrians at the same time. In Thailand, a green light on a pedestrian crossing does not means it is safe to cross.
Unbelievable!

allowing people to roam around Phuket for 5 days and then retest after they have caught Omicron in Phucket before Quarantine jail is a good money maker.

She's had all her childhood shots. There is just something in the back of my head saying no.
I have had two shots, pfizer, so has the wife. Kid has had the flu every year (even with vaccine), and although not pleasant, her symptoms were manageable. Tylenol for fever, lots of liquids, rest, etc. We eat well. Lots of fruits and veg, in moderate amounts, no pop, no chips or sweets (got lucky as my kid loves cold water and fruit over snack foods).
Only catch, might return back to Canada this Spring and currently need to be vaccinated.
Couple of more sleepless nights to decide.
I think all of the requirements for vaccine to travel are going to change very quickly. UK has cancelled all covid rules from today. Good luck with your decision

The same negative protection against Omicron was shown in a report from California. So , negative protection, but definite risk of side effects. Like I have. Not much of an incentive. The big Pharma golden egg days are over.
The red pill us now available to those interested.

Around Lopburi province they have started burning sugar cane again. So the pollution is to be expected.

It is the Thai Government and their outdated quarantine that is scaring tourists away. The news of people losing the Test and Go gamble on a negative test and losing is spreading.

The tourist are more likely to catch Omicron in Thailand now. So, what is the need for entry restrictions?

They have just started crop burning near me in Lopburi. Ash from burning on the roads this morning and heavy pollution last night.
The government continues to allow it to happen.

There’ll be thousands with it. Like a highly transmissible cold, it’ll be everywhere. If you tested everyone in the country, millions will have colds, flu and c19 with the new variant. Accept it and move on.
Adopt the Australian protocol of living with Covid and only stopping using lockdown to try and control it

did they have a vaccine QR code and insurance?

What will happen in Thailand. Everybody who tests positive is put in hospital, hotel or home isolation. What will happen when most of the country has caught it and have mild symptoms.
If they don't change things, the country will cease to work.

No new passport. Not been outside of the country for a couple of years. System reports me on overstay.
On-line 90 day reporting has stopped working for me

Omicron is so far showing that it is more effective at preventing the serious effects of Delta than a vaccine. Where can I buy
it?

And so can those people who are fully vaxxed. About time people understood the Vaxxes protect most people against serious infection without the need for hospital treatment.
And that applies to those who have been infected and recovered. If they are otherwise healthy they have as much immunity as those who are Vaxxed. It's those who are not vaxxed and have not been infected who are at risk.
At risk of getting mild symptoms

It depends what Omicron turns out to be, If the High transmission and early mild symptom are true, You might not need it

You are not allowed to wear an N95 mask on places like the BTS. They mandate that it must be a cloth it surgical mask

Many countries have similar systems. If you go through with no device to pay (deduct) you’ll
get a bill in the mail (address car is registered). If rental car bill sent to rental car company
and they bill customer accordingly. .. Article says eventually there won’t be a cash booth....
Pat least that’s the way I read it..
The Thai post do not deliver mail to my registered address, so it will be free. Fat chance

Please reread what I wrote before jumping to conclusions and putting words in my mouth.
What was the minimum number of tablets you could buy that were at that price. The cost in any pharmacy that will dispense small quantities is dramatically higher (for good reasons) than in a central dispensing pharmacy where they will not break down packages.
I don’t claim to know the current cost that has likely risen due to demand, however even assuming your figure is correct for bulk purchase and that a course of ivermectin is 12mg each 3 days (the bloodstream data is 84 hours so that’s being conservative)
and that you treat for 10 days (double the course time for Molnupiravir which is 5 days) you still only get to 600 Baht or $18 still far away from your $57 isn’t it?

In a private hospital pharmacy just possibly, in a central dispensing pharmacy absolutely not. The last time I purchased paediatric aspirin it was ฿0.15 per tablet. There is no reason why, from a similar pharmacy, that the cost of a standard 3mg tablet of ivermectin would be higher. The caveat though is that price is for a complete dispensary quantity, the only way they sell, in the case of paediatric aspirin that was for 2,000 tablets. I don’t know the pack size for ivermectin but it’s likely to be a lot.
Unfortunately you do not know what you are talking about. You have not bought Ivermectin in Bangkok.
I have at pharmacy that are known to be cheap. They all charge at a cost of 100 ฿ per 6mg tablet.
It is a fact as I have bought them.
My other medications are cheap as you say.

The point with both Molnupiravir and Ivermectin are that they reduce virus replication, though the costs are rather different at $700 bulk purchases cost for a course of Molnupiravir vs $0.53 for 10 days of Ivermectin
Neither is a substitute for vaccination, they will just reduce your chances of death/serious complications once infected until you can be vaccinated
But the course of Ivermectin would cost $59 in Thailand because of the pharmacy mark up

Merck is the company that used to make Ivermectin under patent.
Just saying.
Be fair to Merck, How can they make a decent profit on a product like Ivermectin that can be bought around the world for less than 2฿ a tablet. They need a super drug. I have seen a report that the course of 10 tablets will cost $700

Pasak was at 100% yesterday. So it is even worse than they expected. The dam was virtually empty a month ago, so there is no mis-management this time. They have done everything they can.

The video show a pedestrian crossing that has a green light for Pedestrians and cars at the same time. I nearly got run over, because I thought the green light meant it was safe to cross.
Be careful, you are in Thailand now
