Just a heads up:
I went online to schedule my Non-O visa extension/spouse 145 days in advance (45 before expiration and 100 before that). The Chiang Mai Immigration online appointment site no longer has a visa extensions for family (spouse/marriage) selection, only retirement, volunteer, education and business.
So, I went to immigration and asked why. I was told all online spouse extension appointments are not available and have been booked A YEAR IN ADVANCE. I was given no other explanation, and there is no way for an individual to book a year in advance.

If he was so lucky to get his wish and went back to the America where women couldn't vote, he would land right in the middle of Jim Crow America. The laws MANDATED racial segregation in all public facilities in the states of the former Confederate South, and many beyond.
He has previously stated feminism was created by Satan, and "The only thing worse than a woman who doesn’t know her place, is a man who doesn’t know his."
Back then, odds were he would end up swinging from the highest tree and folks would have enjoyed a picnic under it.

Sounds like he got this asinine idea from another billionaire, Elon Musk. He wants to charge Twitter users 300 baht ($8 US) per month for the silly blue validation check.

We know he was a farang or he would have been texting while simultaneously weaving through traffic

I just completed my Visa extension application "by marriage". However, my 90-day report fell due right in between applying for the extension and receiving the actual extended visa stamp (called the one-month under consideration period). I was still able to complete it onlne.

Both my wife and I are state and Federal US tax payers. regardless of location, as we the tax payers paid for it, your point is moot.

why would living in and going to school in Canada be considered and asset?
If you really have to ask I take it you've never been there.

She has a better chance of being president after Jan/2021 than anyone other than Biden as things sit now. 1st black or Asian woman to be on a ticket. Her manner and smarts will really help Joe with suburban women voters. A very important sector of the electorate. She spent time living and going to school in Canada so she has that going for her also. Wish I could vote for her but glad I can't.
I'll try to keep you and those like you in mind as I cast my VOTE FOR BIDEN/HARRIS on November 3. Then, and hopefully, we'll restore the soul of the nation. Next up, I want President Biden to appoint Sally Yates as Attorney General. That should send the orange mop afire.

Just do it online — about two minutes of your time. Usually it take s a couple of days to approve, but I even got mine back after submission in about three hours.

Nothing like the reasoning from a future Darwin Award winner.

SIMPLE: If you are NOT wearing a mask when entering stores, and other venues more populated you are part of the problem, not the solution.

Well, each citizen will receive a paltry $1200 check to get them through all this, so c'mon Trump has to get his check too. Though in this case it's from the NRA.

It's getting harder and harder for Trump to stock the swamp he has created.

In addition to Thais maxing out their debt, bank deposit protections (designed to protect depositors against the loss of their deposits with financial institutions up to a certain limit) have were cut from 100 million baht in 2008 to 50 million in 2012, to the current 5 million baht protection limit.
But next week, the deposit coverage limit is cut to 1 million baht PER DEPOSITOR, NOT PER ACCOUNT.

Beginning August 11, 2020, the Thailand's Bank Deposit Protection Agency will lower the deposit coverage limit from 5 million baht to 1 million baht per depositor per financial institution.
Note — that's not "per account", but "per depositor".

That is such a shame.
Used to vacation at a great spot in Baja Mexico, but then the jet skis moved in, along with a few rental ATVs. I quit going there, as did most of us Gringos, except for the uber-cheap tourists and moved to better, quieter, more pristine beaches further South. Once the missing wallet collapsed the local tourist industry in that particular beach town, the jet skis were outlawed and it took years for the area to climb back.

didn't go the 400K route but rather the 40K Baht monthly income route as I normally don't keep my cash in TH. 40K income no problem to justify.
Each month I transfer above the 40K minimum in from the USA to my Bankgok Bank account. Curious as to what immigration required from you to verify? Printed monthly bank statements + bank book and/or a letter from Bangkok Bank as I'm doing my visa by marriage extension next month. Thanks in advance.

I work at a secondary school in Thailand and it's most noticeable amongst students, they seem to be oblivious to proximity of their surroundings . This also reflects on the roads and the amount of traffic accidents in Thailand.
Sorry, I was in the middle of texting. What did you say?

This hearing is nothing more than grandstanding by Dems...
Barr has already answered their questions twice...the Mueller report is the final conclusion...the entire unredacted report is available to members of Congress...not one Dem has bothered to even look at it!
The Dems grilling Barr are many attorneys themselves...it is insulting to them to say they are incapable of doing their job.
Barr has more important work to do...like going after the politicized Dems in the Justice dept and FBI who used there position to try to bring down an elected President...
Care to link to a bonafide source showing where all of Congress has access to the unredacted report? Nonsense — ONLY 12 members of Congress have seen a "less-redacted" (as in still redacted) Mueller report. Barr has been caught with his pants down, and by failing to appear before Congress, which has full oversight powers, is in contempt. Hopefully Nadler will tighten the screws on Trump's personal lawyer (what used to be call the Attorney General).
FYI: the Mueller report is NOT a conclusion, nor was it ever meant to be. Hence his wording, quote: “The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it ALSO DOES NOT EXONERATE HIM."- 2

Visa Extension by Marriage - No Longer Online Appointments - Chiang Mai
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
Two years ago one could book an appointment online up to 145 days in advance. Last year I missed that, and nothing was available 60, 45, or 30 days in advance. So I went in early, just like the old days but no middle of the night nonsense, and the process wasn't too bad.
I was just hoping to avoid that mess again but it looks as though they are either forcing it or it is just a site FUBAR.
