Guys,
Its on Saturday night at 9pm. I assume the BBC time is BST which would make it 3am Sunday Morning in Thailand.
Please note: Fixtures are subject to change. The BBC is not responsible for any changes that may be made.
Saturday, 10 April 2010
Malaga v Sevilla, 17:00
Real Madrid v Barcelona, 21:00
Tenerife v Valladolid, 19:00
Villarreal v Sporting Gijon, 19:00
Xerez v Getafe, 19:00
Actually the Madrid kick off is at 22:00 local time 10th of April (website I was looking at before had it all wrong), so that would make it 03:00am Phuket time, I hope there will places still open to show el clasico?

Hi just wondering if anywhere in Phuket have good venues with big screens that show the Spanish League matches? I know Thailand love their EPL, but this one Spanish fixture has more class and skill than any EPL fixture I can think of , anyway it will be on Sunday night, but most likely will kick off around 2am Monday morning, any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.... and Vamos Madrid!!!!!

Anyone knows of any good salsa dancing classes other than Salsa Hacha? I have been to Salsa Hacha for a free trial class but the location is not very convenient for me. Looking for a studio somewhere around Asok, Chit Lom area.
Hi there
Yes there are salsa classes around but the ones I have tried are all LA and NY styles, which I dislike as I spent many years being taught Cuban style, which is so much better. and of course, is the real thing. If you go to the salsabangkok website you will find some other venues. La Rueda is the most famous but again the styles are LA/NY taught by Singaporeans! They have private Cuban style lessons there but I wouldnt bother with that. I am going to check out some of other places so let me know what you find or contact me
Hi, Cuban salsa is good, though in today's day and age, LA and NY style are the dominant ones in the world, and they are actually more fun, and I dance both, it's very hard to find cuban dancers in Thailand, or wherever you go in the world. Has anyone attended Salsa Fiesta in BKK at all? I was supposed to go last year but just missed out due to other commitments, but will definitely be there this year, I've also been to La Rueda, and met Apple, and her male instructor, they are fantastic LA dancers, and both have been over seas to LA/NY learning salsa in and out, and can say if you want high quality salsa, head to La Rueda and ask for Apple, and when her classes are held, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy the music, it's the best, speaking of which, anyone know of any Salsa bands around that need a chorus singer? or any type of singer, I've sung in a small band before and am looking to join one for fun, recreation etc etc, please let me know if anyone knows of any, cheers.

That's a bit rich of you complaining about rudeness from Thais towards yourself? The Thais inside KFC must already know what a rude obnoxious person you are from previous painful experiences of having to put up with your abhorrent attitude, so why are you whinging on an internet forum, when quite clearly you were served a taste of your own medicine? If you don't like it then go back to wherever it is you're from and go and besmirch that society with your loathsome persona. Then everyone will be happy in the LOS, as I would feel extremely nauseated if I ever had an encounter with your grisly self.

Hi guys, I'm looking to introduce the beautful dance of Salsa to Pattaya, I'm a Salsa teacher currently teaching LA Salsa in Santiago Chile, and was wondering if anyone would be keen to take up Salsa dancing in Pattaya as a new hobby with their partner or friend? as I would like to come to Thailand and stay a while, and my girlfriend is from there ( so I was looking at starting to teach beginners salsa lessons, all the way up to intermediate level 6. There is already a Salsa club on Friday nights inside Goodfellas, with free entry and sometimes live bands etc, so I thought offering classes at 200 baht an hour per person, or 300 baht per couple, would be a good way to teach this beautiful sexy dance salsa in Pattaya?
What do others think, would anyone be interested in taking a few lessons?? please post here, or pm me.
cheers Salsero.

I've heard that air crew do keep an eye out for exactly this kind of behavior. Perhaps where the "tip" came from.
I should be ok then, as i eat everything they put in front of me and drink more than they offer me
yeah im sure it was the air crew too, strange that they didnt arrest him in BKK apt, unless they followed him to his destination to be able to catch everyone in on the deal.....

60 days payment is the norm. Usually the agencies (I'm referring to the ad agencies, JWT et al) will write cheques at the 25th or so of each month. So depending on when your friend shot the commercial, he may have to wait a bit more than 60 days. 90 days max, as per contracts that I've seen.
I trust that I have more experience in this field than any TV member.
Either way, it should all be in the contract. Future advice: watch the wording in the contract regarding withholding tax (5 percent), VAT (7 percent), business tax (3 percent), etc... some contracts will state figures inclusive of these taxes... make sure it's exclusive (depending on the power you have, they may tell your friend to fark off)... Trust me, 7% + 5% on big contracts can make a huge difference... but if you're new, it's just about getting your foot in the door and ruining it for the rest of us by undercutting prices across the board...
and r u a model working in LOS? do u think you're better than everyone else??? wingaa dingaa

Yes, you get the one year extension just when your visa is about to expire. Then, you will only need to make 90 day reports to your nearest Immigration (reporting your address) and will no longer have to leave the country. You will have to renew your visa every year, submitting the same documentation over and over and over again tho
Make sure your daughter enters Thailand on her Thai passport tho, will save you any hassle further on down the road (ie exit Canada with Canadian passport, enter Thailand with Thai passport).
So even with the O visa and the work permit go and get an extension after 3 months? Thanks for your patience. I have mommy brain and a mute husband. Maybe my situation with the border trying to get money off me because of our daughter was just a miscommunication:) Did I mention my husband is a mute? A mute by choice. The other comment about luk krueng kids getting so much attention is interesting... . I definately don't want her to grow up thinking she is something better than other kids. Her uncle already told me that she isn't very beautiful because her skin is yellow and not white so we are on the road to modesty already....
your husband is a mute by choice? may i ask umm why?

Is It Thai/buddhist Tradition To Be Away For 3 Months?
in Buddhism
Posted
Hi, sorry I've been searching for this and can't seem to find it anywhere, so thought I'd ask here, just wondering if it is tradition for Thai Buddhists to go away and either be at the temple for 3 months straight at one point in their lives? to cleanse their body mind?? just curious, thank you..
