  2. What is that tracker status for a problem torrent? (highlight a torrent, look at the tracker tab, what does it say under status?)

    What is that status when looking at "Speed Guide"?

    Do you have the same problem for every torrent?

    Did things work before and now are not working?

    Do you have your ports forwarded properly?

    Some trackers have ratio/registration requirements, can you tell us which tracker is causing a problem?

    You'll have to share a bit more detail if you want help trouble-shooting.

    Here is some more details:

    Everything looks fine in the speed guide

    Alot of the trackers on different torrents are giving the following error: Only one usage of each socket address (Protocal/network address/port) is normally permitted

    and a few are just showing Offline (timed out)

    I'm experiencing this problem with all my torrents. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it.

    I will post all the details of the trackers and speed guide later today, My ports are not forwarded as I'm not much of a techie but I'm gonna try it later today. I just don't understand the bit about setting a static IP before forwarding the ports and which IP address to use in the section where you select start and end ports... can anybody help?

    I use utorrent 1.8.4 and haven't had these kind of problems before with downloading torrents... also I don't use open DNS... could this be a problem?

    Has anybody else been having problem connecting to seeds in their torrentz... I use maxnet and recently upgraded to the premire package in the hope of getting faster speed for torrentz...

    I'm trying to download torrentz that have a high seed to peer ratio and one that are well seeded. My download manager is Utorrent and I can see it picks up the number of seed for e.g *(11050) but its connecting to 0... this is becoming really frustrating as sometime it connects and then loses the connection... I have checked my firewall and tweak all the setting in Utorrent Preferences.

    Can anybody help me please?

  5. Surely we could all agree that the worst part of TT8T is there customer service, I have been using there service for only about 8 months and I'm appauled by the level of customer support.

    Firstly I'm sure that when you sign a contract with then you should be able to select English as a language that you receive correspondance in... not all of us can read Thai. Also when contacting 1103 I see no point to having an automated message to say press 1 for English and when you do the agent that picks up can't speak a word of it... so you spend the next 15 minutes being transfered from pillar to post trying to find an agent that can actually communicate with you.

    I experimented with a product of TT&T called global net international calling... I picked up a info at the local TT&T office and thought wow the rates are not bad... so I started to use this service.... what a joke.. The first bill I received I was charged more than double the quoted rate.. so this is where it gets really bad, I braved up.. set aside 45 minutes to make a call to 1103... and not one of the agent I spoke to had ever heard of this Global net... really confused I went down to the local office where they told me they have no access to check anything regarding global net I should call 1103... then I got hold of a contact number listed for Global net called then and guess what was told that you need to call 1103 because we can't access the billing system.

    3 Months later and the only responses I have received from them was "our manager will call you back" " Our marketing will call you back" " Our technitian will call you back" " Our head office will call you back" but not once have I ever received a call back. Now I have disputed the payment and refuse to pay more than double of what I was quoted now they have cut the service and still will not respond to my dispute. I would probably even accept the higher charges if it was accompanied by an explantion.

    My internet Woes have also been huge but I will not get into that... I have recently though maybe dropping them an email would be better it would give them a chance to investigate and think about the reply... I emailed to query the new contact... upgrading my package... where to locate braches on Phuket and every time all I received back was the same silly automated response

    I was actually stupid enought to reply to this email once with all my details and guess what I received back... yip the same email came back again... so I'm sure that the person reading these emails can't understand any of them and only has one standard response... shocking really.

    Anyway I hope that the CEO is really reading this and is trying to bring about some postive change... it surely has not happend yet as my last contact with TT&T was about a week ago

  6. Hi, Does anyone know if there are any USB wireless headphones that would be compatible with an LG LCD TV. The tv doesn't have a port for headphones but it does have a usb port.

    I just don't wanna waste money on buying a set and it doesn't work.. :)

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D

  7. Does anyone know the difference between the model currently on the Market here, I have noticed that there are PS3 80 GIG (Asia) and PS3 80 Gig (Singapore and Korea) and they are priced differently.

    Which one would be better to buy here in Thailand?

  8. Thank for the Info Ray... I will be spending sometime in BKK soon so I am thinking of buying one there because the prices down in Phuket are way too steep.

    Can you recommend any places that you may have seen them and do you by any chance remember how much they were going for.

  9. No legal guarantee on any of the grey import xbox or PS3's.. You might get a 'promise' one from the seller but thats worth the promise only.

    Would it be better to go down to KL to buy one?

  10. A shop on the 3rd floor of Central Festival sells them, opp Supersports and the bookshop.

    They have everything, latest games and accessories and will order game they don't have.

    Some of the new games are pricey.

    I have over 45 games now

    Edit^^^^ that is the name of the store, The game never dried.

    They have a store in Tesco Lotus too.

    Thanks for all the info.. I am new to Phuket so does anybody know if I buy a PS3 and one the above mentioned stores do you get an international guarantee?

    And does anybody know the price for the console and games at these stores because I saw that Sony Thailand have not yet released the PS3 in Thailand so does that mean it will be more expensive here?

    Does anyone know a good place to buy a PS3 in Phuket... I have come across a few places but they were all asking over 20 000 which is a bit ridiculous.

    Or does anyone know any good places to buy it online because I would consider that as an option.
