  1. Unfortunately most of us who have GPS units already have maps that are far more detailed than the free maps. It is a HUGE job to add points of interest that are useful and accurate. Add the fact that places go out of business and often change names makes it even more difficult.

As far as the routing, I would guess that if enough interest could be generated, travelers could be persuaded to send their tracks to the map makers. Those tracks could make the routing portion of the map much more accurate and complete.

I admire the people who are working on this huge project. All the hours of work you people put into this is appreciated by some of us.

Yes, I know ESRI map in Thailand are very detail map and very expensive map too.

But that will never stop us from mapping as Hobbies for those communities out there who look for FREE maps.

I am still hoping that someone here might interested in Mapping, may be the local Thai.. :)

  2. No one seem interest on Southern Thailand Map.

Which Thailand Province you guys are looking at?

    Bangkok Map??

I am very interested in Phuket, Phang Nga and Surat Thani but unfortunately I don't think your downloads will work on my TomTom in car Sat Nav system. What equipment/model would be best for me to purchase to use in Thailand and would be compatible with this map?

Our map are compatible with Garmin and Papago.

  5. Alyem,

I am very happy to hear of your Thailand map project.

Your group produces the best looking GPS maps that I have ever seen. I am not presently located in Thailand, but when I am, I will be certain to support your Thailand map project with information.

I only hope that many of the TV members and others will support your Thai map effort so that we may have the same quality beautiful maps that you have produced for Malaysia.

Thanks to your group for your beautiful work. Your maps make all the others look like they were produced by children.

TV members: Go to their website and download their FREE maps of Malaysia. If you like what you see, then please help these guys out. We will all benefit from it.

    Thanks.

    Bro Issanman,

Thanks for interest and support to our MFM Community.

To have a good looking and handsome maps, we need all the feedback and information from the GPS users. And we need all voluntarity expert from the community to produce a fine maps.

Hopefully our Southern Thailand map can be launch by September. It wouldn't be as good as Malaysia map for a start, as we have 0 zero information from Thailand GPS users.

With our 1st FREE Southern Thailand map, we hope the community of Thaivisa forum can support us with lots of GPS information in Thailand.

    Regards,

    Alyem
