There is also the scam where they scan the goods twice, e.g. two cans of coke instead of the one you wanted. They are then one can up, and can have it with their lunch - I've noticed this happen a couple of times after I've insisted on a receipt. Always an apology and a smile as though it was a genuine mistake.

I know what its like trying to dive in zero or near zero vis and coupled with the short bottom time at that depth it will be making the divers job extremely difficult and dangerous.
How deep is it? I've heard depths between 30 and 50m.

When I taught at a university in the UK, and I found evidence of copying, I would divide the score for the work by the number of copies, and then allocate each person that score. The brighter students quickly learned not to allow others to copy their work.

Too bad it's only good enough for GT racing and not F1.
Really - FIA International Sporting Code article 7 (was article 6 on previous releases) and appendix 'O' has Grade 1 tracks suitable for F1 races. You can race GT series on a grade 3 track.

I have opened a bank account at JDB in VTE whilst I was living in Hong Kong. I am a UK citizen, so I don't see why a Thai national can't open an account in Laos.

I packed my own chute after my first jump, but during the packing process, each stage is signed off by an instructor (or at least it was early 90s at the JSPC Netheravon).

I know it's not any help in Thailand, but Park 'n' Shop in Hong Kong have Yorkshire tea, and I've even found Yorkshire Gold in my local one (Hopewell Centre) occasionally. When I'm in BKK, I get PG Tips if I run-out, and forget to bring Yorkshire Gold back.

Very funny. Not heard that before, and still chuckling.

At approximately 11:00am on Tuesday, police Major General Witsanu Prasartthong O-Sot (Deputy Commission of the Immigration Police) along with the Superintendent of the Crime Suppression Division, successfully apprehend British national Miss. Katherine Anne Neville-Gliddon [21]. who was suspected of travelling into the Kingdom on a fraudulent passport.
A check of the suspect’s passport revealed several irregularities with the document, leading police to immediately arrest and detain her from leaving the country. Miss Neville-Gliddon was due to board a flight to Dubai on Emirates Airline flight EK 373.
EK373 departs at 21:20 - why was she at the airport getting herself arrested at 11.00am?

I jarred my back in the taxi en route to BKK airport, and the Thai staff asked me at every point whether I needed a wheelchair (I was hobbling a bit). If you want some piece of mind, then call your Thai Airways office before flying and explain, and you'll have a wheelchair waiting for you.
Good luck and enjoy the Land of Smiles
