what happens if you paid well in advance for a flight scheduled in late August time? do they just refund you the money or try to re-route you via BKK at no extra expense? I have a hotel booked in Phuket and it would be a shame to change my plans. Im flying SGN-HKT-SGN.

I was in CNX this time last year and thought the semi-pea soup atmosphere was the norm in a hot humid climate. But I live in London. It didn't bother me and I walked kilometres everywhere. I found the noise of those cricket things far more iritiating (& deafening).

I think they are one of the main sponsors of the annual Thai Festival. Held in Greenwich Park this year.

What you don't want to do is stay in Chiang Mai, in fear you might fall in love with the place like I did 20 years ago!
If you are lucky enough meet some friendly locals (thai).
I love the late night riding in/around the city after the traffic has died down... something about a warm breeze on my face and the smell of wonderful food. (Sorry reminising...). Nothing better, well maybe one thing...
Late Flight Phuket To Bkk On Air Asia
in Phuket
Posted
Hi as my Saigon to Phuket return direct flights have been cancelled on Air Asia (travelling towards the end of AUG), I'm thinking of rebooking to route via BKK - so it will be 4 flights instead of 2. Im thinking on the way back booking the last flight from Phuket (arrives in BKK around midnight?) and hanging round the airport and getting the very early morning flight onto Hanoi or back to Saigon.
Has anyone had experiences travelling on this late flight from Phuket up to BKK? Does it every get cancelled? In other words is it worth a risk.
