stacker10 Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 Hi I want to get a ED visa to study thai from some of the schools who ad here on thaivisa.It seems very logic and fear. The immigration dont ask anything aboute your money,how to survive during your studytime?I want to learn Thai anyway so this looking great.Any one have experince of this? wasabi Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 With the ED visa you must first register at a school endorsed by the Ministry of Education. You'll get a letter sent to you which you must send to a consulate, who will grant you an initial 90 day visa. Every 90 days thereafter the school must confirm you are a still a student. I believe if you go to a University level Thai language program you can get a full 1 year visa but I didn't go this route. There is no need to show income, just go to class.
