BillR
you need a co ltd, not a ltd partnership. You can buy .in.th with a work permit. I own several:)

bangkokcitylimits
Why do you want a co.th, what benefits does it have ? only can imagine a co.th will be good if you have a product for locals. Overall .co.th's are too often hosting extremely poor made websites.
siamect
Overall .co.th's are too often hosting extremely poor made websites. It is always wrong to generalize co.th domains only have the co.th in common and the fact that you need to have an orgnization in order to qualify to register one. co.th's does not host anything. Any webhost in the world can host a co.th domain. The quality of a website is simply not correlated to the last characters in the domain name. bangkokcitylimits
based on the convincing statistical material of 5 or was it four?... Whatever, just the first random picks from Google page 1 with search query .co.th. Or let's do it the other way, can you show me 5 professional, well designed Thai websites ? I like to see them. Seriously, the only good looking Thai site that I know, and use a lot is: http://www.f0nt.com/ (for typography lovers like me) but not sure it may be Wordpress theme. oops, this is not a .co.th
A_Traveller
One can't help but notice that several major Thai companies use US, and even UK based web companies to provide their site designs [behind the scenes] and even allowing for the added possibilities for cross charging this footing with the feet is noticeable. A_Traveller
Re the Font site, yes it's a Wordpress theme, but on the Thai point try going to the 'Designer' and see what you think of his/her approach. A_Traveller
To the OP, the advantage of a 'co.th' is that a knowledgeable web user will appreciate that the corporate body is registered in Thailand, thereby giving some credibility. sgunn65
Thanks for the replies. My thinking around having a .co.th name is: I am more likely to get the name I want I thought it more likely to come up higher in page ranking from thai users the business is targeted to Thai's and people living in Thailand; I am not looking for a global market at this stage I am not that internet savvy so I may be wrong. I am certainly open to, and grateful for, any advice that will help.
