  1. It seems that Chiang Mai mail is now black and white as well as only bi-weekly.

I'm glad that City Life is still in color!

I think they need real Journalist

who can get the local news and info and maybe they should try some free classifieds to boost sales

this paper is on a downward spiral and needs real managment to run it

  2. Thank you very much for your email. We update our classifieds every day, except for weekends, public holidays, and unfortunately days when the girl in charge is ill. We have someone take over when she is on leave, but sometimes there is no one to take over when she takes a day off, for that I apologise and will make sure someone does it for her in the future. Thank you.

Thank you Khun Pim its is nice to know someone care

  3. There are others around and I used a couple of them before I found the Dog Hotel. Our dog died in March so I no longer keep up with what's available. I would avoid the places that are part pet shop and pet supply shops. They tend to keep you pet confined to a small cage most of the time. The Dog Hotel is out in the country side and they have a large area where they let your dog exercise and the kennel itself is large. They even offer a/c kennels for your pet! I think the charge for our dog was B150 per day. It's more if you want them to supply the food or you can bring your own food. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks for your reply I know about pet supply shops as it is the same here in CM but I was lucky to find cage free boarding in CM and the place is well managed but I will go and look at the 1 in pattaya many thanks

  4. Storage space

if you require a large storage area I have a studio

5x5x3 mts In Hang Dong good security and no flooding would prefer long term rental. This studio is next to my house and guarded by my dogs all windows have bars and wooden shutters main door with internal steel doors 2,800Bt per month discount for long term

  5. I use a convection oven,House Worth brand, stainless steel, which is very easy to clean and cheap to run.Cost , about B2,000.I use a separate gas cooktop, the best and most economical are Infra-red ones.Cost also about B2,000

You can find gas oven with 3 gas ring at Carfour on super high way I think they were around 9,000Bt they only have 1 model:rolleyes:

  6. The drop in demand from all those debt-laden countries Thailand exports to will be a more important factor IMO.

That said, Thailand is fairly well positioned globally with relatively better prospects for self sufficiency than many of the (over)developed countries. Now that we have just passed peak oil and peak credit globally, this will become more apparent as the difference between real wealth and money/credit becomes ever more stark.

    Agreed

And i just hope their incomes can sustain all these new shiny pickup trucks they buying on HP

" According to Toyota Motor (Thailand), new automobile sales inJune totaled 70,557 units, up a spectacular 63% YoY and 13% MoM. Sales ofpassenger cars rose by 76% YoY to 32,946 units and commercial vehicles by53% YoY to 37,611 units. That brought 1H10 sales to 356,692 units, up 54%YoY."

But the problem is not how many cars you sell its the financing how many of the customers will default on payments and the same in the housing sector 100% loans are still being given this bubble has yet to break

  7. This thread is more than one year old and I have never heard a word about this former employee's business. I would hazard a guess that justice has already been served courtesy of Meals on Wheels better service, the lousy economy and the redshirt antics several months ago. He seems to have vanished into thin air. :D

I think this a way to get to advertise there business as for sure the thread is over 1 year old there sure are some triers out there
