  1. I do have the choice of MCB, when I look at the local one I can not make head nor tail of them, so an item from UK seemed a better option, I am not too bothered about  any redundancys  or price, as you right point out its your life  and how do you put a price on that, not ready for the grim reaper just yet, lol . I noticed that we dont have service fuses , wow

what is the unit you would fit ?

  3. Hi Carl, I am happy not to follow Thai brickies, lol, they have zero skill, I have seen some on youtube lol, no vertical DPC s to be seen, no visqueen membrane.

I am going to start with a raft, that should get some head scratching around here.

    cheers

  4. I am going to use Q block 150 thick for all walls and no caverty, its not like they get 3 months of continuous rain like in the UK , there does seem to a debate about them being load bearing,   imo they are,  they are supposed to be ok for under ground work, which I have with the eagle eye of a local UK building inspector , Q blocks are to a EU spec so they say

  5. Thailand is skint, they have only paid off 1/3 of the 14 trillion the borrowed in 1997, they peg bht to the $ and hope all will good by following the dollar , exports are down, and too expensive compared to other ASIA Countries and now they think tourism is the answer, they need to rethink that one, Thai are great ones for the ostrich sin-drum .

A previous poster said Thailand has vast reserves , OF WHAT ? COCONUTS well yes they do, why did they rice farmers have to wait for their money and only got a % of satang owing ? the big C word, say no more , I will give it 1 year before the sheet hit the fan, GLA

  6. the author of this post would not happen to Thai ?

  7. Ranong is where I first saw a blue beach, so rancid I could hardy breath when I went on a visa run, those who have been there will bear me out,but to be fair its not a tourist beach, a rabid dog would not want to be there but just shows you how thing can deteriorate if left unchecked

  8. some years ago I went to Mukdahan with poo ying , we visted her mother and her workers in the rice paddy s there was litter everywhere, after 30 mins I got up and found the rare plastic carrier bag and proceeded to fill it with other garbage , then took it to my pick up,.....the looks I got... they thought I was barking mad, jungle folk move to the city s and they just do the same, it has to be bred out of people and will take many years, so dont hold your breath.

  9. and once you have done all the afore , dont go there again, why frangs want to get married I dont know, you just left all that sh...i in Uk. AND SOME CLOWNS PAY THEM 15 OR 20K PER MONTH, AND YOU STILL HAVE TO CLOTH AND FEED THEM PLUS PAY FOR KIDS SCHOOL,w00t.gif

follow the 3 F rule..........if it FLY s, FLOATS, FOOKS, ........RENT IT biggrin.pngclap2.gif

  10. This not uncommon, you should go to the Police asap, get as much info on the hire person, there is a network of thieves in Pattaya, which needs to be sorted, trouble is everyone is on e the take, sometimes you have to pay to get info, in return for a conviction, consult your Embassy, for Advise, the bike should have been insured by the people you hire off, for theft and accident, good luck

  11. six years, she IS having you on mate, no sex, <deleted> bin her now, Isaan custom is to get as much as possible from you, for as little as possible, as regards payment there is no rules, dont forget they can live for 50bt a day in the sticks, I hurd some thing like this once before, no sex before marry, tured out to be LADYBOY, who wanted the money up front ( for the opperation ), they look for greenies like you, BIN IT NOWW
