I once saw bits of somebody's brain lying on the road. Not nice. ????

Obviously I disagree with that statement!
I think the manifesto's stance on immigration is very much in line with current British public opinion and a sure-fire vote winner - polling done by CCO indicates its the most popular Conservative policy. In fact I would say that the majority of working class Labour supporters are also strongly against immigration. Moreover I often see posts on TV from UK expats lamenting how the UK has changed due to mass immigration!
My impression is that hostility to immigrants (especially non-Caucasian) has increased sharply since the Brexit vote. My own wife (Thai) has experienced a couple of racist incidents here in the UK over the last year (and we lived in a very 'diverse' city).
Personally I don't know anybody who is not in favour of reducing immigration, and reducing non-European immigration is top of the list.
So Britain and the Tories have become a bunch of racist xenophobes.

Anyone tried some rat eating snakes?

I'm not actually sure of the relevance of Andrea Bocelli to Leicester to be honest, but the philistines have clearly never heard of him.
A friend of Claudio's.

The juggernaut keeps rolling on.

Another three points!

We love you Leicester, we do; O, Leicester we love you.

Now we just need a genuine Leicester fan to step forward.
It is now not just one of those early starts that everyone amazes at the start of every season, then the site gets relegated. Leicester are top of the pile after 15 rounds and not looking like slowing down and every team around them are falling over trying to pull their pants up.
I bet there's a skip in your step!
I am loving it. After so many years of rubbish; think Levein, Holloway, Sousa, this is a real pleasure. Here's to hoping it can last to the season's end.

Good, keep up the pressure against illegal drugs.
I wonder what sort of punishment is metered out to these pushers?
Have you seen people drinking Thai whisky all day every day? Even the pricing policy in Thailand encourages this kind of behaviour. Get some persepective in your life.

Pity they banned the cane in British schools ,perhaps now it would not be full of so many tearaways.and the pc crowd can shout all you like ,i dont care.
I will start by beating you and see if that improves the quality of your posting.

A dry Thailand only affect falang. Thai people are Buddhist and drinking is against believes anyway. This is a Buddhist country.

I will still be carrying a copy of my passport and visa with me.
-
So if I have a "Copy of passport verified and stamped by Immigration" that does not have to include the Visa?

I once had to clear out 18 carpet snakes (pythons) from my SE Queensland house roof. I took them to a nearby tip (plenty of rats to eat) but amazingly most of them found their way back home so i had to 'bag them up' again. I was told by a parks and wild life officer that if i did not take them more than 5 klm to release, they would once again come back. Did that, and they never came back, however Possums decided to camp in the roof and were making such a noise at night 'scurrying' around that i had to get another Carpet snake and put up there to get rid of them. That worked too.
Quite. The right sort of snake can be your friend.

... until they start doing fingerprinting.I read that (in the US) a name change in the court costs $200 and a new passport costs $120. Problem solved?
Fingerprints can be changed and are less useful as a means of identification as one gets older.

But what of the officers who've amassed a fortune over the years taking protection money for these guys to operate. We have a tendency to punish the wrong people. Most of these taxi drivers are paying a lot of money to a mafia boss, who is probably linked to one of the families that run the island, who then pay off local police and government officials. The guys driving the taxis are hardly living in mansions with private healthcare and their kids at international schools, are they?
It's like the war on drugs; arresting some piss poor man with a kilo of whatever, who took a stupid risk to better the life of his family, locking him up for 30 years and saying you're cleaning up the streets.
The truth is, you can't investigate the real criminals. You can't get to the top of the food chain. Why? Because once you peel back the layers, it will lead you straight to City Hall, if you get my meaning.
Quite. We should also remember who has also traditionally played a part in being "men of colours".

In most sane democratic countries the army is a servant of the elected govt. They dont place a dictator into power against the will of the voting public. The army chief is hardly an impartial player, being on the board of banks etc. Anyone who believes he will appoint a neutral dictator is dreaming, and reform that will benefit all thais wont be a result of this. My guess is that elections will be a long way into the future , and perhaps will happen only after another civil war. Good luck with thai economy which relies heavily on tourists and industry giants like Toyota and Honda.
Quite. The good General might like to ponder how all of this is going to be paid for in the future?

What about banning all the cars and motorbikes. They let off fumes as well dont they. ? Oh yes planes traveling above, what about them??
It's a common suggestion by smokers Lee, but of course the need to get real.
Over the years there has been an ever tightening of the vehicle emission laws which has made great improvements on what motorcycles, cars and trucks pump out.
However we are still in a situation where poor air quality is responsible for 1 in 8 deaths world wide. Perhaps it is a topic that Governments should pay as much attention to as they do smoking. It is easier to pick off individuals one by one than large corporations.
Moreover why not make tobacco an illegal substance? I speak as a non-smoker.

Where does Holland buy it's legal weed from?
Remember it is not legal, just tolerated. Currently it is bought from criminals who supply the coffee shops, though this model is changing with the local Gemeente or Council increasingly growing and supplying the coffee shops.

This is merely an attempt at a face saving exercise and should be seen in that light.

I was walking past last week and saw a couple taking their young kid into that dump of a street.
I'm sure he survived the experience. It could be far worse - try Basildon High Street.
If someone is pining for Basildon High Street, some parts of Khlong Toei are very interesting. If not, then the River, The Grand Palace, Chinatown and a day out of Bangkok would be good.
"Staying in BKK 3 Nights"
Why would: "a day out of Bangkok be good"??
To act as a counterpoint to the sights and sounds (and smells) of Bangkok.
