Just seen the large Yamaha dealer in the center of Udon Thani has 4 Royal Enfields in stock. Its getting me tempted again as didnt want to travel miles to buy one and have it  serviced.

Its good to have a choice now.

Shame no sign of the Euro 4 spec / abs model yet . Maybe next year ?

Yes its the main Suzuki dealer.

It was roadtested by MCN last week at its launch and was slated in most departments. Also comments on excess weight 40kg more than the Honda 500x. Looks like one to avoid shame as the benelli 300 I have is a excellent bike.

Bung in the UK the new model is the same price as the old model (retail). In the pictures of it didn't  see anything out of place. Be great to hear what you think of it when you get it.

GARYZX6R, not sure shocks can get softer with use though.

That's from other users on pcx worldwide forum. You can also buy a yss cartridge kit for the front forks to make them work more efficient.

I fitted a pair of Z yss shocks xl size. Shop recommended these rather than the G models or hybrid. Stiff ride same as before but more damping. Reports are they get softer with use. I am 85 kg for info. 2800 baht fitted.

Popped into Nong Khais Honda dealer, said would give 30,000 bht discount for cash on the 1.1 mil HRV plus free ins etc. Said you have to pay for film for windows? Was nice in the new silver colour .

Yearly service done today ,no problems ,labour 200 bht, oil filter 320 bht all done .. Took my own Shell AX7 oil 10/40 for them. 129bht a litre from Do Home , bargin..

Nextdoor neighbours one has done 3500 kms same horrible rumble from transmission. Strange dont seem to get it on my Honda Pcx ? Wonder why ? Quality maybe ?

Just ordered some milk thistle tablets from Ali express, they were cheaper and larger amount than the iherb brands. Have to see how that works out ..

Having ordered some items in January THAT NEVER ARRIVED I waited till end of March and iformed Iherb that my order never arrived. Having ordered many times before they said that we will refund your money this time but if it happens again they will not.. Money was refunded and i placed another order which arrived two weeks later . Cant complain too much ...

Looks better than the 2015 model which was a bit bland.

Been waiting a month now for my order. Never waited this long before. Hope it comes soon because if it doesnt i wont be buying again from them,order was about $50..

I have ridden one, engine was nice, and it handled well - but gear box was a big crappy, lots of false neutrals or difficult to get into neutral, and a really soft feel to it, always like the gear wasn't engaging - didn't have that clicked in feeling of the Jap bike gear boxes.

It does look good too, reminds me of a mini ER6, but same weight puts me off too

Sounds like he needs the clutch adjusting and also adjusting the gearchange cam lever to his foot. Nothing wrong with my gearbox, no false neutrals,and snicks into gear as good as any bike. From delivery both mine and the neigbours needed to have the clutch and lever cam adjusted correctly to get good gear changes,which I did.

Just fitted a new pair of tires as the OEMs are typical crap.. Got a pair of DURO/TAURUS tires on ,these are made in Thailand in the Dunlop factory I believe. Only been about 100kms on them so far but feel better already.Forgot they cost 2700 bht a pair from eric contona who advertises on the web.

Went into Benelli Udon and asked about the cam chain being replaced at 13,000 kms and they said no maybe 30,000 ..

I think they are good for unexperienced tourist riders but i wouldn't be caught dead on one.

Either bike rental shops buy them or aging expats.

I have never seen a Thai riding one.

Saw a Thai cop in Udon riding one last week.

Its a knockout motorcycle for sure, would love to take one around the French countryside but not sure about here
