  1. All these virus programs are nothing but scammers to me,pointless and memory hogging.check out a program called sandboxie, then you will wonder why you ever bothered with crappy virus programs. I use sandboxie and it is simple but genius. It basically keeps everything inside a box, until you close it and nothing can affect the os and it runs like its not even there..you can even set it up for usb sticks.

  2. ok thanks Colabamumbai,i will look at their website.

Paradigm Language Institute seems to offer good prices, but im not sure on what the school is like?but they currently offer private one year package for 59.999baht with a 5% discount as well.sounds good value.Anyone have recent experience with this school?

  3. I go to bkk beginning of June and I am looking for the best deal with a school, preferably private lessons.i have read through the Best Thai Language School thread but not come to any conclusion..

what i am after is a school near mo chet or near, good value for money and friendly teachers.

does everyone recommend sorting the student visa before i go?or get to bkk, search for a school and then apply for visa?

  4. Ok,I have maybe come up with the best solution from further searches.please tell me if you think this is correct.

Open up a Thai bank account and also open an account with The Halifax Bank and use their online international payment £9.50 and Send in gbp currency to the thai account and then use that one for withdrawals..

  5. Hi.

I am moving to Thailand this year and want to live from earnings from a business me and my brother own.what I need some help with,is the best way to transfer my money.I have a few options that I can think of.I use my English debit card but then get charges each time, maybe open an account when im in Thailand or if possible on line?then transfer the money to that account.I have done many searches but have not come up with a good way.Any ideas, knowledge would be very appreciated as I am pretty clueless to this :)

    Thanks

  6. Hi TVF

I will be moving to Bkk to learn Thai language soon.

I have stayed in a city called Korat for a couple of months before with my thai friends and enjoyed it.

I have so many questions that need answering and i keep coming back to this site everytime,so i have now registered.

hopefully meet some new friends on here.

    :)
