  2. Hi we my Thai wife and her daughter have just successfully obtained a 2 year extension for settlement uk FLR(M) visa with the new biometric credit card thing...now want to go camping for a week in France and Luxembourg with our british born daughter and my 2 sons from a previous marriage whilst in half term period..Is it just a case of filling in the 2 page application and send it to the French embassy in London and make an appointment take all our paperwork and wait.. Does our Thai marriage certificate already translated into English need to be changed to French?? And are there any other important issues we need to consider before travel?? I have read so much but am still unsure of this procedure

  5. Hi has anybody come across this situation in spouse visa application. They are requesting I fax audited accounts as i am self employed does this mean profit and loss an cash forecasts as I do my self to satisfy the inland revenue or does it have to be certified from official accountancy people... I have only recently done myself my tax return online and paid the tax I was due can I just simply print of these details with profit and loss that I did and fax those would this satisfy there requirements I think I'm getting close but not sure..

  6. Hi my question is my wife and I are just married she will be expecting our baby around mid June.. We have been together for 3 years she has visited me in uk twice and I to see her several times.. We are in the process of a spouse visa to stay with me for the two years and eventually indefinite will the Eco grant her a visa in time to have baby in uk we have give the 3 month allocated time for the process or is it better to be born in Thailand and then will she and our baby be able to then come and stay with me.. Does it improve couples chances of visa settlement if pregnant or not? Or is it best not mention it ?

  7. can we apply for this whole process as unmarried partners or does this only apply if we have lived together outside the uk for 2 years as partners.. i just dont see why we have to marry just to satisfy the uk border rules .. if we have to get married then we will .. id rather get married when the time is right maybe in a couple of years when the baby is born and we are more settled this would take the pressure off what is the best solution hope somebody else has had the same experience

  8. my long term gf soon to be wife is now 11 weeks pregnant here in the uk she is due to go back next month . i will be traveling with her and staying with her family for 1 month

my question is will i be able to get her a settlement visa whilst in thailand and get her back in the uk to have our baby before june 23rd or will she have to reside in thailand for 6 months been as she has stayed with me for 5 months already.

  9. Thanks for speedy reply.. Are there reputable Exam places to take the test are you able to reccomend A bonafide one? I thought Thais could take the test in uk within the 2 year settlement period as may need some night school pre training first but I am confident her speaking English is good

  10. Hi I intend to fly to BK to meet my GF sometime in june this year with all the relevant paper work to go to embassy together. She was already successful with a tourist visa last December which she stayed with me for 10 weeks we have also been together now for 25 months in that time I have been to see her 5 times last time in September to sort out TV together.. Well my questions are

I intend to visit her for 1 month.. Hopefully her visa will be granted about the time I fly back to Uk .. Is that a bit risky? will she be able to come back with me and can I get her a one way ticket as after 6 months we will be married an applying for the settlement of 2 years visa can she take the TB test in UK or does she have to have it in Thailand bbefore she leaves ... Also do I have to pay £ 600 twice once for fiancee visa then again 6 months later or is this a one time fee are there any other charges I may incur apart from the register office marriage... Can we get married at a local office where I live or dors it have to be a special uk border one... Also once we are married and living together properly wil my tax credits and free prescriptions stop which subserdise my income.. I'm aware she will not be entitled to public funding but will I be ok to receive them any advise on these few questions will be gratefully received thanks
