I'm on Gold package and a bit worried with all this shake up, whether i'll be able to watch F1 this weekend on Fox Sports HD. Can someone confirm if it is still there?

Saturday 24th November 2012 will be the next Northern Soul night at the Wombat Bar on Soi Arunothai for anyone interested.

Well, if it is going to go ahead there might be some problems.

2 weeks to go and no advertising. The bar has been closed a long time now. They would need staff and some sort of management to oversee the event.

Certainly an odd way to promote an event (non-event).

We will see.

As I understand things, although the Wombat part of the bar is closed, the rest is still open. They are opening The back part as a one off, for this event.

I agree that normally there is more obvious advertising than this time. If I hear more I will post on here.

Excuse me for being a bit dim but can someone please explain to me how you plan to watch live 'on line'.

To my knowledge, nobody has succeeded in getting a reliable live TV stream in Pattaya.The internet speeds are simply not good enough.Even in Bangkok there are only certain areas that the internet speeds are sufficient to support live streaming.

And if you are thinking 3g will be sufficient, then think again - no way.

I have tried many times to watch live streams here and have always given up as even if the stream works for a while, it always starts to freeze and the quality drops and its just not worth the hassle. And my internet is supposedly 3 Mb.

I stand to be corrected....

I have no problem streaming TV and video (from USA servers) on my Banglamung TV cable internet connection. I have the 10 mbps service

As for soccer...I'm American so couldn't give a hoot! (Did see a BBC news piece on some Ukrainian host fans giving the Nazi salute to their team and making a sport of beating up non-white fellow spectators in the stands...and they call this the "beautiful" game?!

I will assume you are serious. If you go by motor bike it is easy to park. With a car allow more time. It will cost 150 baht to sit in the covered side in the middle with plastic seats. 120 baht in the covered part on concrete. 100 baht on the other side with no cover. As you walk into the ground there is a table with two girls who will sell you a ticket and a programme too. Under the new stand there are girls selling merchandise. as is usual with football, trouble will not "kick off" unless you wish it too. Enjoy the game.

For anyone interested and who is on Facebook, there is a "pattaya soul club" and I believe the organisers of this event are members of it.
