  1. Although I do not condone his actions, the do-gooders should see the problem we have over here. Hundreds of stray dogs roaming around in packs, many threatening adults and, worse of all, small children. A proper cull is needed urgently.

    angry.gif Your response is sickening...

Why? I am a dog lover and have one of my own but a cull of all the stray dogs that roam the streets threatening both other dogs and the general public and overturning dustbins in search of food with the resultant mess being strewn everywhere, is long overdue.

It's the Thai's that need educating, they get a puppy because it's cute then when it grows it gets kicked out on the streets, they won't get them castrated. So what do we end up with millions of strays. I see it constantly a woman next to me gets a puppy/puppies the mother dog is here constantly but the evil woman beats the mother dog. As soon as the pups grow up she kicks them out and beats them, and we have the same over and over again.

  2. Your post made me very curious.

I see you are very cheap in regards to food for yourself (your other posts).

Which makes me believe 10 000 Baht reward for a cat is either:

    1. Troll.

    or

    2. Crazy cat lady (NOT cat woman).

The only comments I remember posting was about a good curry!! It had nothing to do with cheap. I am not a crazy cat lady, what I did was rescue 4 street cats in Dubai and adopted them and no, I didn't force them to stay with me they have wanted to because they have always been looked after well, loved and most of all felt safe. I am very serious about the 10000 baht reward. Please don't insult me.

You "rescued" 4 cats (from whom?) in Dubai, and then you brought them to Thailand?

May I ask how long the quarantine lasted, what shots they received, and what it cost?

Surely you must understand that this sounds a bit ehhhhmm eccentric maybe?

Anyhow, with 10 000 Baht reward, I believe and hope your cat will be found, or it returns by itself.

They were rescue cats. There are a lot of charity organisations that rescue cats and dogs off the streets of not just Dubai but the UAE. People adopt a lot of these poor animals that are left to fend for themselves, because of that they are often injured or killed for no other reason than some people just don't care.

No quarantine! One of the things you have to abide by if you adopt an animal is that they have all their shots, get neutered and are fitted with a microchip. Depending on the age of the animal, all of the above may have already been done and all you need to pay for are the boosters.

Where I come from this is normal. We treat our animals with love and care.

You don't say what area you are from or a description of your beloved cat. Please don't listen to the bad responses as these people are clearly not animal lovers and don't appreciate the love and care that comes from both sides. Good luck i do sincerely hope you find your little friend safe soon.

  3. Unfortunately this behaviour is far too common here. The positive in this incident is that, in the incredibly unfair world of accidents, this one has affected the person at the root of the accident the most. I feel sorry for the Iranian chap.

I did note from the image the helmet lying on the floor. Even if it was on it was barely a helmet and can be guaranteed to have not been secured.

Nothing will change here whilst it is more cost effective to the government to allow the acceptance of the results of dangerous driving.

No common sense, and the people involved and watching will still never learn, they will all carry on doing the same thing. The helmet most likely belonged to the Iranian guy, poor guy wrong place wrong time, but thankfully an innocent person came out of it without serious injury for a change. She learned a hard lesson which resulted in her life, i can't feel sorry for her.

  4. I wondered why it was gridlock on soi buakhao at about 3pm, now I know. Hope there's no casualties

Just got home from Soi Buakhao, it was gridlocked right up until about 8pm, as were Pattaya Klang. Locals were telling us that about 57 properties are gone, please don't quote me on this as of course it's hearsay. I pray no one was injured and all got away quickly

  5. The Loris's are endangered....yes....But i'v seen it many times you are walking down the road and some creature is thrust upon you before you have a chance to realise what is happening, then they shout some enormous price at you. . I don't necessarily think she is guilty of something. It's these money grabbing senseless idiots that need to be stopped.

  6. Poor kid, seems to be happening a lot more now or else it is being reported more.

What is happening a lot more ? Unattended child touching a mother dog who just gave birth?

Anyone with common sense knows what xen means.

I would have thought anyone with common sense would not leave a 6 year old alone with soi dogs, let alone let her play with a mother dog after giving birth.

I guess I do not have as much common sense as some VERY sensible posters

I completely agree leaving a young child alone is terrible anyway and the parents should be done for leaving her. As for the dog attack these dogs should be rounded up and destroyed, i am an animal lover but lets face it these dogs have no quality of life.
