  1. Hi there.

The house I have bought will be vacant in August and it will be time for me to begin my plans to take up residence.

I should point out that I am a 70 year old single female. Moving from almost outback Australia to Thailand.

I have been showing and breeding English Staffordshire bull terriers for over 30 years and would like to continue to do so in Thailand.

I also breed Sealyham Terriers. The house I will be living in is in Cha Am. My last visit was in June for the International dog show.

Just as a visitor this time but hope to show next year.

I have opened a bank account, and I am about to Join the Thailand kennel Club ALL of my dogs are ANKC registerd and will have export pedigrees.

I intend to bring 10 in all.

The other quandry I have is, do I leave all my worldlies behind? Or if not what do I pack to bring I am not sure about the import taxes on some things or if household items are exempt.

I have looked at the official sites but would be interested in the views of those who have already made the move, and thus had the experiences

  2. There are several good dogs in Phuket. I was instrumental in helping a friend a few years back to bring in a pair and the original male from Australia, a lovely red guy, is still very much active. He is registered and with a good pedigree. I have permission to give you my friend's name and number. Howard Digby-Johns on - 0818915503.

    Happy matings!

I have been despirately trying to contact people in Thailand with English Staffords.

I intend to retire in Thailand and bring 10 of my beutiuful Staffords wuth me as well as mt Sealys.

I intend to show them all. I have read they bare a restricted breed. Yet Am staff and pit bull are there a a plenty.

I have been showing and breeding Staffords for over 20 years.

    Any help would be great.

I have emailed to Thai kennel control and no reply, also some kennels listed on the net but have not been able to find any Staffords (english that is) until now.
