The simple solution is to buy a house via company.
If this company is set up correctly ,then you will have 100% of the voting rights and 100% control. Even if you gave your wife say 25% .....
Some say buying thru a company is dangerous. You are on your own with that one.
I think this law changed but not a 100% sure. The managing director of a Thai limited company must be a Thai now as well. So no more “100%” control.
Which you never had anyway if you do have a crooked lawyer. Just to close such a company later on if not needed anymore can cost you somewhere between 50-100K. Up to your lawyer. So choose wisely.
I’m legally married to a Thai and we bought a house a few years back together (50/50) for us and our son.
In case we would divorce and we had to sell the house both of us would get 50% of the sales price.- 2

I’ve done both. Once you sat on a big bike you don’t want to go back on a scooter for touring.

Lucky he didn’t had a ricochet into that cars fuel tank. Now that would have been a blast [emoji28]

Up to 7 years in the slammer OR 14.000 thb !
Who and how can you come up with these figures... -
at the local scrap yard - recycling company. You might even get a few satang.

That’s good news! 169 million unused bags in 2 month. What I’d like to know from the CP corporation is how many bags they have handed out only last year in total? ;-)

Also, I don't need a plastic bag and 2 straw when buying a can of Chang. I always get funny looks when I say "mai sai tung krap".
“mai chop sai tung, krap” is a bit more emphatic and she might also blush.- 2

So these guys are of course absolutely the last of the overstayers, until the next 500!

The OP sounds a bit distressed. Maybe immigration has the spotlight on him or his business.
I always check in with a neat copy of my passport. Then they usually ask if they can keep the copy. I reply politely: if your copy machine is broken you can, off they go and make a copy of my copy.
Of course I do have my passport with me as well. -
And non of the passengers had the balls to call highway police? Classic.
Instead, let’s do a vdo and put it on Facebook. Tomorrow he sits behind the wheel again or does anyone believe he regrets his behavior?

I noticed today that there are several more cameras going up on the 1/32. By the way they don't click in at 120kph they click in at anything over 110kph. That's on a 90kph road 100 if it's an 80 one. Seems your only chance of not getting one now is by going slowly.
Sorry about the small print but you can blame TV that.
Interesting. are you sure about when they start flashing. On all the fotos it says L= 120 km/h. And I do have several more tickets from last year, anyway when I passed fix mounted cameras I know (on road #35)
no tickets at 115km/h.
the issue is how to mange future trips up to Bgkk. If sticking to the official speed limit my navi calculates
~ 11 hours and more for the trip. That’s painful. Before all my trips up to Bgkk was around 6 hours for 650 km.
That’s a huge difference. Maybe have to change to airplane in the future...

Why does someone need to know where speed cameras are...????..?
If I were a senior citizen, I wouldn’t need to know either.

Cheers m8, for your input.

Just treat them the same way back. Works for me all the time.
Of course if someone talks polite, I always reply polite too.

Does anybody know how to use the provided GPS coordinates on Thai speeding tickets.
On my last trip to Bangkok (New Year) I got flashed 4 times.
On highway # 41, 4 and 35.
I don’t mind paying a fine if they catch me, but during this last trip I used to drive most of the time 115 km/h, speeding cams start flashing at a 120km/h.
So now I was looking at those tickets which they sent by mail and used the coordinates on google map and TomTom:
no result!
Back to my question, does anybody know how to type in these coordinates into google map and get a result?
Thanks for any helpful input.

I only once bought at Macro a 3 liter box of chardonnay wine. To be fair can’t remember 100% if it was from Mont Clair. But it was Australien. Anyway back home put it in the fridge and next day poured a glass and was surprised of the intense color. So I tasted a bit and was disgusted.
No way to drink that, so I mixed it with some soda. Then it was a bit better but still not what I was used to drink back home. So I got curious and inspected the box and could find in tiny small prints that they ad egg-powder for coloring!!! VVTF, tossed the full box right away. That’s fraud. Since then I stick to beer in Thailand.
