The immigration website refers to the non-f as being for government duties.
See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/16.FOR-OFFICIAL-GOVERNMENT-DUTIES-NON-F.pdf
If on a visa exempt or tourist visa entry you could apply at immigration.
The embassy in Kuala Lumpur does show it.
https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/n3gTFT2TOE/Visa_Requirements/1.pdf
The consulate in Savannakhet Laos also mentions it.
You would have to contact the embassy in Phnom Penh about it.
Info here: https://phnompenh.thaiembassy.org/en/content/contact-us
Thank you for that. I have finally managed to speak to someone in the Thai embassy in Cambodia. Apparently they do the F category. It takes 5 days and USD 80. I will give it a try.

Hi everyone,
does anyone know if I can apply for a non immigrant type visa F (diplomatic) from Phom Penh ? I will soon receive the MFA authorisation and need to pick one embassy to apply to in one of Thailand neighboring countries. Was thinking Cambodia. No info provided on their website????. Or any other websites for that matter.
Is there a better place to apply nearby Thailand?

Scam !! Theft.!!! wash your mouth out sir this is Tourist friendly Thailand
I said what I said and absolutely maintain it. Oh! I forgot to mention the double pricing. I am not a "sir" nor am I a tourist and i am definitely not taking any body hygiene instructions from strangers.

Thai authorities are imposing a double taxation for entering Thailand to all "non-thais". Forced to get insurance and then forced to pay an additional flat THB 300 amount for "insurance". This is way beyond discrimination, it's pure theft! What a scam this is! And by the way, not all foreigners are tourists. Such a shame!

And finally back to the tragic stories of increasing foreigners and locals killed in avoidable road accidents. One of the few positive side effects of the global covid 19 neurosis has been to put this to rest for a while. RIP young Camille.

Oh yes! that's really mature! Head of state like behavior. This degenerate, psychopathic child is a war criminal with the nuclear weapon and a list of unfriendly countries! Like half the world. And Thailand seems very proud not being part of!! Unbelievable!!

As for latest covid 19 situation updates France has the exact same % of vaccinated people than UK and much less rates of daily contaminations at the moment. So why doesn't France qualify if the UK does again?

Tourists should pay more? Not really convinced of the rationale of that statement. Also and more importantly, not because you ain't thai means you are a tourist. The thai really seem to struggle to come to terms with that notion. It's quite simple though. Let's try once again: IT IS NOT BECAUSE I AM NOT THAI THAT I AM NECESSARILY A TOURIST. Any form of discrimination (positive or negative that is) based on race or ethnicity is despicable!

With the Island in lockdown it shouldn't take long to track her movements and and find the murderer.
He/they might have already left the island for what its worth! It could have been any foreigner enrolled in the sandbox programme.

Once again Scam-Box, is counting Thai's and Ex-pat residence as tourist. It's all BS.
No choice in returning not as "tourist', even though living here as a full time resident of Phuket.
No choice in renting a hotel room even thought some have full time homes.
No choice in paying a Taxi 1500B fare (normally 500B fare) even though some own personal cars.
????
Same here, though my place is Bangkok, not Phuket. Not sure how long you've been living in Thailand. Me and my husband just over 15 years..anyway just wondering how come you still overtire yourself on the sometimes-not-so-logical-thai-ways????. You sound a bit frustrated????. Really, don't be ????

Well, I am not at all for beaking rules. Unfortunaly for me I am just a little too old for such juvenile behavour. So, I figured that If I want to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer orelse I can buy it and consume it with my husband in my very gorgeous hotel room with view over the laguna and sea. I think some people just live to complain even when it seems not so appropriate. I take Phuket any time with or without alcohol over being stuck in an Hotel room for 15 days in BKK. Sometimes it's worth seing the bottle half full than half empty. Enjoy life people, while you still can!

We've been in Phuket about 10 days. Very beautiful, relaxing. All facilities are opened in hotel, pool gym etc.. depending where you're staying in the island but at the Laguna most places are opened. Pubs and restos shops massage parlors etc... It is extremely enjoyable to experience the island without the hordes of tourists. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. However true that most major tourist attractions are closed. We can live with that!

Hope the thai authorities will not fall for this absurdity. Quarantine is necessary and will still be necessary for a while longer. Although it could and should be reduced to a 7 days isolation after 3 consecutive negative tests. Ie 72 hrs prior flight, upon arrival and 3 days in. In my view, it would be much preferable and safe to ease the measures gradually, at least until sufficient Thais are vaccinated. People (tourist) mays start responding to that. But that is only in my view of course.

nonesense!
1) even vaccinated you are still a carrier and a spreader,
2) vaccinated means 2 doses for those who got two dose vaccines. It'll be a while before potential international travellers reach that stage. The target of the vaccines, at least in europe and at the moment, are not the international tourists type as far as I understand
3) glacial pace worldwide re the vaccination campain, both because of insufficient doses for everyone and log issues>
sure let's start by lifting quarantine for those international travellers that have been vaccinated. GOOD PLAN INDEED! That will solve the problem of the hospitality industry...
as I said, sheer nonesense

OMG please wake up Thailand? You are not a 5 star country. No one is coming until you remove the quarantine. I love Thailand, & I'm a frequent visitor, but I will not pay for your games. You will get nothing until you open up. Please prove me wrong, but 39,000,000 tourists agree with me?
I absolutely agree!

Hello everyone, I am still confused. What is this tourist visa they are talking about? Are they talking abut Visa exempt to be exented to 45 Day?
I am an Italian national and used to be able to enter with Visa Exempt Stamp valid 30 days and extendable another 30. Is this the visa this article is referring to? It is very confusing...Can someone please help clarify?
Cheers.????

My husband and I have been regular visitors for the past 20 years. We spend, on average, 4 months a year. We will never return to Thailand again at least until the country they gets rid of the idiotic and abusive paperwork and remove the mandatory qurantine nonesense. A negative test, a mask and appropriate physical distancing and hand hygiene should absolutely suffice.
Thailand used to be a very nice and relaxing retreat for excaping european cold winter months. Now it is just sounds like a nightmare, and a very costly one at that. NO WAY!

Complete and utter nonesense! Or in other words, "when dum meets dummer" type of event report.

Sjeer nonesense !
I have a condo I Bbk, why do I have to pay 14 days to be e jailed somewhere ?
Why 14 days when most countries are reducing to 7, if any quarantine at all ? Is the test prior and upon arrival not enough ?
What level of 'tourist' services the 'lucky ones' will find after being released from 'jail'?
Long term stayers ? Who are they ? A good tourist is one that spends a lot in a minimum period of time.
Long stay travellers are typically not the biggest spenders. It won't help much, if at all.
Like I said, poopy cock nonesense !
Bravo Thailand !

go back to 'sufficieny economy philosophy'? Odd how these inspiring statements come out of the mouths of the wealthy, those who have a steady job, not at risk of loosing their standard of living whatever it may be, who will keep receiving a paycheck at the end of every month even if they don't do anything. Easy to make such statements when you are not at risk of loosing much or any of your privileges. incredibly shortsighted, childish like!

No, you are dead wrong, not to mention capricious and unnecesarily polemic ! He is not asking for 'special favors to suit him'.
For the record I do not believe the sheer 'visitors' or 'tourists' should be given priority at this stage. Far too dangerous.
Meanwhile there are quite a few of us (dirty ferangs as we are often referred to as) who have hundred of thousands of dollars investments (something the Thai Government always promote and now is deperately trying to 'WOO THE INVESTORS) and/or other legitimate family interest in Thailand. Some of us depend on one year visa renewable as the only option to stay legally. At the moment, many of us have or will loose this visa because we cannot renew as we are stuck out. This renewal comes with a usd 25,000 balance at the bank in addition to everything else.
So please do get a grip and try and think a little before you lash out and make childish comments/statements.

Thai Government had no regard at all for many of us foreigners that own Properties in Thailand. Together with other specific groups (i.e. family/couple reunion, resume on going health treatment etc..) property owners also should have been given the priority to go back and look after their investment(s), without having to be subjected to stupid, useless, costly and time consuming additional procedures. What a scam ! The attitude of the Thai authorities re the Covid 19 and how they to it respond is neurotic at best bordering hyteria. The lack of sheer common sense and good jugement befuddeling !
