For 15k, I get picked up, chauffeured to IM at CW in Bangkok, escorted inside (no ticket, no waiting in line) to take pic with IM officer, then chauffeured back home with my new yearly extension in hand. Don't know what you're talking about filling in form and getting a wait ticket. I really enjoy the VIP treatment and it's one of the many perks I enjoy and treat myself to in retirement. It's very nice for me not having to worry about anything and since I have the money to spend, I enjoy spending it.

This sounds like good value to me. Bert, which agent do you use?

Some people use agents just for the convenience so they don't have to go early or sit for several hours in line at CW. My good friend paid 10k for his renewal in Nov and he used the 800k method with his own money. The agent took him to immigration, walked him to the KBank office for his bank letter & updated passbook then agent went inside while my friend drank coffee in shop. Then, agent texted him to go take pic and they were done. I used the same agent with the income affidavit since it was my first time doing in CW, but It cost me more because I needed to change my address, get multiple reentry permit and do 90 day reporting also. I did myself the year before in Jomtien after having already moved to BK, but it cost me taxis each way and 2 nights stay in hotel, so this year I wanted to do it right and do it where I lived. If I can get the same rate as my friend 10k, then I will definitely use the agent again for convenience at CW since it's so busy. And, I will be using the 800k of my money in bank. Not everyone using agents are "bypassing the rules".

Bert, which agent did you use?

Potentially yes.  The active ingredient may have been imported from the Chinese manufacturer.

Thanks, that makes sense. I called Silom Medical and was told they've stopped producing Valatan, although they couldn't say why.

As to what I call it...

    Revenge implies he was wronged.

    He wasn't.

A woman made the choice to leave this coward.

    He couldn’t handle that.

His ego was too weak to accept rejection, so he murdered her.

    Gutless, cowardly narcissism.

In this case "revenge" simply implies the he THINKS he was wronged. Which he does.

Ah yes, sleeping in parks and on pedestrian walkways also has many other benefits such as unlimited fresh air and the chance to meet local wildlife.

  6. Hi Sheryl, I believe the Police General Hospital is at Ratchprasong, on the corner of Ratchdamri and Rama 1, opposite the four face Buddha and Central World, unless there's another Police Hospital at Victory Monument.

Anyway, I would be interested in your views on the Police hospital at Ratchprasong?

I believe Chula does have a long waiting list, so probably difficult to get registered there.

  7. It's kind of like how I knew a guy who'd been to Bangkok four times and he'd never left Khao San Road (genuinely).

That's really quite impressive. Everyone else has to slog to and from the airport, but this guy has his own helicopter and has it land right on Khao San Road - must have been quite a sight.
