  1. I got my house sold last year... I am from Quebec and I had to go threw the Canada embassy in Bangkok.... they offer the service of Power of Attorney... I got a the papers done from my Power of Attorney in Canada... get him to send me the paper here by FedEx inside 48 hours.... and went to the embassy to get approved. One of my friend did the same thing a month ago.

  2. I would like to have some advice about having a power of attorney done here so I can get my house sale in Canada. I come from Quebec and my notary need to have the document sign here with an attorney who has an office here in Thailand and one in Canada. So far... I did not find any attorney having offices in both places. I am trying to find a way to get my power of attorney done... but I don't know how... I looked on the web and I don't find anything... Can you help me please...

  3. Few years ago... I was there at the same place and I almost drown in rip currents... few seconds away from letting myself going away.... Lucky.... I was save by a farang just before I had no more power to stay on the surface... I will remember this moment for the rest of my life... As much as I was not scare going swimming at the beach... now I can not think going swimming at sea anymore when they have waves....

For your info.... just be careful

  4. We ask for TRV visa for my wife in nov. 2012... She did not had any tie to Thailand.... She did not have

financial tie, nor real estate or a job... only her family.... we simply filled the forms from the Canadian immigration web site and gave them the papers we already sent for PRV visa in 2011... She did not go threw any interview. We just went back to the embassy 4 days later and got her TRV for 1 year. So I am a little bit confuse about what I see or I hear from others who applied for TRV,even from those who seem to put forward their expertise... Like somebody told before... You read the guide available from the Canadian immigration office that help you to fill the forms,it is really well done... and there you go... I don't think you need a expert to do it... just take the time to do it well...

  5. ". Il dément par ailleurs avoir demandé aux autorités thaïlandaises de ne rien divulguer sur l'enquête et encore moins d'arrêter les recherches sur un indvidu qui aurait été vu avec ses filles le soir du drame."

From the article of radio-Canada... The father claim that he never asked the Thai authority not to tell anything about the investigation and never stop to ask about the search of the man that has been seen with the girls that night ... Sorry for my English

  6. When they say " When a person is experiencing difficulties in the water they will call for help"...... HUMMM

I had been in the same situation three weeks ago whe I was fighting for my life at Nai harn beach.. I could not ask for help at that moment because I was too busy to keep myself out of the water even if I am a good swimmer.... I did ask for help only once when I could finally touch the bottom with my feet... and only once because I was too exhausted... Finally... take care out there with the rip current..
