Thanks for the reply ubonjoe, i have looked again at the Embassy website and i probably should have been more clear with my query, apologies. I would be applying for the 90 day Non O as someone on a state pension, obviously over 50, the requirement appears to be the bank statement showing pension/sufficient funds, no problem, residence confirmation and health insurance, inc Covid coverage, of no less than $100k for the duration of stay, so thats pretty definitive or has something changed more recently?

According to the Thai Embassy in London insurance of $100,000 is needed when applying for a Non-O, im not sure if that high level of insurance is for a one year visa or if its also required for a single entry 90 day Non O, any experience anybody?

Hi all, under the new entry rules to be introduced on May 1st, is it required to purchase insurance from a Thai insurer or will my Ireland private health insurance, with Covid cover, be accepted?
