  1. Thank you for the useful information. I will show this forum to my husband, so he will stop worrying about my using Thai passport the next time we leave/enter Thailand. I just acquired my Thai passport in 2006, after

40 years, and have never use it yet.

A question for those who actually use two passports for traveling, do you have to explain to the US Immigration Officer why you don't have exit stamp on the US passport upon leaving Thailand?

Thank you for any suggestions and information regarding this.

    Have a great day!

  2. Thank you all for the information and the input regarding Bangkok Hospital. I am glad to know that. There is another Bangkok Hospital being built in Hua-Hin, we will be sure to advise our friends to stay away from it.

I think all international hospitals in Thailand only goes after the money especially from foreigners, not native Thais with average income. There are other good government hospitals,if you are willing to wait all day to

receive treatment or to see a doctor. We have been using a local private hospital in our area, and the cost is quite reasonable, and doctors on staff seem to be very knowledgable about medical treatments.

  3. Instead of the Thai government providing incentives for women to produce " Quality" children, wouldn't it be better to provide good parenting classes for young mothers, or young parents in Thailand. Also, the focus

could be on providing supports for parents in needs, or elderly grand-parents who may have to care for their grand-children while parents are away at work.

Sex education could also be offered in school with appropriate age children. Most pre-teen or teenage children in Thailand don't talk to their parents about sex or its consequences. It's the taboo here. Unfortunately,

many unwanted pregnancies happen, so the burdens are placed upon the young mothers and their families.

Let's invest in young children who will some day lead our country, and may even care for us in our old age.
