Does that also mean that the same percentage of Thai people insist that Thai people living in other countries should be forced into having a Covid 19 vaccination and that all those same Thai people should PAY for the vaccine or is this the usual one-way process of "We take we do not give" because all foreigners have more money than Thai people and they should feel sorry for us.

godden ..................zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I can see why you don't write any books, it requires words of more than one 'syllable' which you seem incapable of doing.
If you have nothing to say then I suggest to you do as you preach zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz good night.

Hi Chris
If you want to write a book about your experiences, why shouldn't you?
I am retired with time on my hands and am a website designer. My friend of 25 years+ is also Dutch (currently living in Spain). He is fluent in English, Spanish, German, French and some Jananese.
Between us I'm sure we can help you. Of course you can write blogs, put your story on Facebook etc, but if you want your own little space on the web, why not?
Websites are very cheap these days, and if it doesn't take off, just shut it down. You could even write it in Thai - with of course lots of pictures or no one will read it.
If you want to know more just email me [email protected]
Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

Sorry, forgot to mention. When visiting this website http://www.hadtuen.com/home.html the photo gallery is on the menu tab is denoted as 'The General Atmosphere'
Photos showing roads are actually inside the resort, they are not of the resort road itself, this cannot be seen from inside the resort grounds.
The resort grounds (lawns for lack of a better name), meet the sand of the beach. This really is a beach resort...................with Internet access.

Trat! ...........not too far from here is a beach area called Hat Chao Lao. A nice stretch of coastline.
The beach is around 25km from the main Sukhumvit Highway, so not easy to get to for the average tourist. Resort prices ar cheaper Sun night to Thurs night as this is predominently a Thai destination, easily denoted by the facy that prices shoot up Fri and Sat nights, as tour buses full of Thai arrive for the weekend.
I have never checked out property prices here so can be of little help there.
Shopping is in Chantaburi, some 25km away. And please note, this resort area dies at 9pm due to the fact that i's pretty well empty except for Fri and Sat nights.
Nevertheless, if you're looking for a pleasant beach area, not full of the seedier side of life found in Pattaya, and definitely quiet (let's say dead, some of the time), then you're in the right place.
You really do need your own transport to stay here. Clean water, clean beaches. The resort road is set back maybe 200mtrs from the beach, so no motorbikes or cars disturbing your sunbathing.
Why not check it out, nice resort to try is http://www.hadtuen.com/home.html it's a Thai language site, so open in Google Chrome and translate.

Foreign tourists will have to quarantine for the first three days in August's "Pattaya Move On" plan

At last. The first person with an iota of common sense. This is probably never going to go away so we have to learn to live with it. There will no doubt be a constant stream of variants and we can't keep stopping the world turning each time one appears. We need to keep the vaccination program going if no more than to reduce the number of people becoming seriously ill with the virus. The vaccination will not stop people getting Covid, it will also not stop people passing it on, the best it can do is help to prevent the virus building up in the body causing a serious condition. Can we keep up with adjusting the vaccine to cope with the number of new variants? Only time will tell and meanwhile we have to get on with life or there is no life. People need to be careful but of course that is not going to happen as we have seen already.
As far as travelling to Thailand! As much as I want to go, how many FALSE positive tests will put people into hospital for 2 weeks plus other expenses only to find out they didn't have Covid in the first place - and for sure no refund from the error caused by the testing mistake. I will go AS WILL MANY OTHERS when there is NO test on arrival - I have a definite lack of trust in this system especially if there are any hospital beds that need filling.
