  1. Mini bus is now every 2 hours from pattaya tai to hua hin and back, I think its about 220 baht.

Should this post be understood as in there is a route between HuaHin and Pattaya?

If yes- where are the pick up/meeting spots in the two cities?

    :wai:

  2. Hello everyone,

At the moment I am staying in Chiang Mai and before the 15th December I have leave Thailand to get a double entry visa so I can extend my stay here. I am in doubt about which country to go to and if it would be easiest to go go from either Chiang Mai or Bangkok and if there is any visa companies that are recommendable which can help with the arrangements and paper work?

  3. Hello everyone,

I do a lot of physical activities and when my body gets sore I need a oil massage for recovery.

Which massages places can you recommend?

-I prefer oil massage and the best option would be if there is possibility to take a shower when finished.

    Thanks a lot

  4. Good point above regarding not using illegals.

true! take lazy locals. let them rob you blind. give them once a month paid leave because #9 of the seventeen grandmothers or grandfathers has died. and once you completed to advance them the value of three months salary (the little brother needs a complicated operation, the sister's university fees are due, if gambling losses are not paid the worst has to be feared) and they disappear then thank Buddha for your blessing.

don't do what i (we) are doing! do not pay 11,000 Baht a year per employee and make illegals legal with the authorities. that some of them are multilingual and you can communicate with them (in our case in three languages) is not worthwhile. do not pay these (now legals) an adequate salary (like 8,000 Baht a month) and do not provide them with free food, free airconditioned accomodation and a month paid leave to visit their families in their home countries every three years (like we do). most important is that you don't treat your employees as human beings and in our case like family members! treat them like shit. let them sleep on the bare floor it is most embarrassing and frustrating getting an excellent job from happy and grateful live-in domestic staff.

    :)

    Lovely.

    Just plain and simply lovely.

  5. I have been looking in all the bigger malls but it seems to nearly impossible for me to find it by my self that's why I am asking for your help. I will also need the accessories for running.

    Where to buy?

  6. Thanks for all the nice contributions.

I have tried the google map but when I press in it's like none of them are recognized and the suggestions that google come with i have no idea where is compared with my original destination.

I am very keen on running in Lumpinee Park but what would be the easiest/cheapest/fastest ( Yeah, I know go run but...) way to get there from Ramkamhaeng Road. Taxi all the way? Taxi to the metrobus/subway (-which station?)? or bus nr? and then metrobus/subway?

    Thanks again!

  7. Your taking a computer with u ?

That's not a part of the plan.

It's more for preparation and to have an idea which direction to head for. If it will be a long run I will print the route and have with me 500 bath for a possible taxi ride back home.

Do you of any online map to use for running?

  8. Thanks again everyone!

I will most certainly check most of the suggestions out.

I love sport so Sports Authority will be my first destination.

The gay bars and sauna will I avoid surely.

At Nasa Vegas Tower the traffic light has been out most of today and it doesn't help that there no policeman to guide traffic. It's insane.

  9. there is a good gym and a movie theater if you head away from town on the left, there is also a carr fore with an mbk in the same parking lot. a decent road side food stall in the same general area if you find anything in the way of night life i think it will be geared for thais.

    Thanks, man!

Which Soi number is the gym and movie theater located at? Could be interesting to check that out.

  10. Do you guys give a tip?

And how much is normal? If the massage cost 200 bath.

It really depends how 'happy' you were when you finished. Going rate is anywhere (depending on the level of happiness) from 500 - 1500, apparently.

I thought that all the massage places which costed around 200 bath was with clothe on and that you couldn't anything additional to that. The massage places which would make "happy" happy started out with oil body massage around 600 bath and the additional wishes would be meet with a price category you suggested.

    Oh sorry my mistake. :)

Seriously, no reason to say sorry.

I am new to this country, Bangkok and the massage world.

Just trying figure out how things work.

Anyways hope that I didn't offend you with my post. I am newbie in this world and want to know more about it. Thanks.
