  1. No worries, nothing will happen to those guards. The moral is: To deal with drugs, you first apply for the uniform group. With that, it the immunity. They will not be punish under the common law.

Infact, i pity these uniform groups of people caught dealing with drugs. They were force to corrupt it. Just continue to blame those drug users & drug dealers, eventually they will be achieve success to eradict drug out of the nation like 'that' man always vow.

Sympathize those who genuinely be an enforcer but reputation tarnish by some others of their kind.

  2. Hope the transfer of chief is not a process of transfering the 'opportunity' to enrivh another.

'A five-hour-long investigation showed the illicit-drug-stuffed bags belonged to no passengers and Weerapong sae Wang, a young man hired to label and arrange luggage in the bus, was the most likely suspect.'

And hope thei\ above judgement is not baseless accusation of another victim just to close the case. I shall give them the benefit of doubts.

    Amzaingly only in the country.

  3. May be i am ignorant but how would she knows when the numbers of drug busted reaches 80%? It means she knows the actual numbers of drugs trafficking in the country now?

To reach a certain number is easy with their system. Just apply blanket arrest, whether you are drug dealers, pushers or consumer. Anyone happen to be found near these 3 categories can be arrested. That will help to achieve their vision.

  4. Quick execution on convicted criminal? We don't mind but what worrying is how the investigation are being carry out? Transparent and fair? I am not sure but it seems i read alot from many forums or even youtube that those goes to court are ask to plead guilty or their length of investigation will have to detain you longer than your eventual sentence or worst, you might be end up with the death penalty. jap.gif

In short, is everyone given a fair trial??

  5. I'm very surprised they published this. If the DEA was involved they were surely looking for a bigger fish. For the record the DEA has been operating in Thailand since the 70's.

Some times it amazing me when the report says the raid able to seize certain quantities or amount of drugs but nobody was at home !!! I wonder do they raid with planning to apprehend the bigfish like you said or do they simply act rashly without thinking and catching all the small fishes to crowd the prisons.huh.png

  6. I wonder how much of these so called drugs were planted...?

There are no need to plant, they simply assume people are part of teh syndicate as long as they are with any person who possess drugs. So next time, all of us better body check friends and relative before you even stand next to them. Unlike other countries, if you are not caught with possession of drugs. Benefit of doubts are usually given after base on thorough investigation. But here, we have a bunch of lazy people.

That how they get the number.

  7. Wow !! Terriffic !!

    Arrested 707 !!! What a great number !!!

Have they not realised arresting such small drug pushers does not solve the root problem?? !! Thailand is a 60 million population and they are many more scape goats to recruit after these 707 people being arrested.

Com'on Narcotic Officer, knowing you are too lazy to investigate and identify those who really involve as pusher, i am sure many of these 707 are arrested just because they happen to be together with their friends.

Stop trying to show big numbers on people arrested. You will impress more if you can arrest the BIG BOSS instead.

  8. i find all these stories simply unbelievable.

a tip off? stake out? 73kg? at a bus station? suspicious sacks? about to be sent south?? by <deleted>' bus?!?!?

    not on this planet folks.....

this can only be total set-up designed to make the cops appear to be doing something about the amphetamine trade (other than running it that is).

  9. UPDATE ! 73 kg's of "Ice" found at bus station.

Police believe the 63 kg's of 'ice' was left behind by a forgetful drug dealer. On inspecting the bags police assertained that the 53 kg,s of 'ice' was divided up into 3 seperate bags.

When the head of police arrived, he took receipt of the 2 bags for analysis and finger printing.

When reporters turned up, police put the 1 bag of 'ice' on display.

When later pressed on what he was going to do, the head of police said " we will find the owners of this despicable drug, leaving 10 kg's of a lethal drug like this lying around is irresponsible to say the least."

When asked what will happen to the drugs, he was quoted as saying " this large haul of 2 kg,s of 'ice' will be disposed off immediately.

  10. Bad foreigners! Illegal activities and extorting people? They should be sent to Bangkok Hilton for taking away the potential ability of Thai making money from these activities and providing unfair competition to Thai people. Meanwhile, some people working in Jatujak market continue to sell animals; selling of drugs at Sukhumwit and running the jetski tour for tourists. Hmmm....

Only if they will put in more effort in cutting off bribery and corruption first and educate those lazy Thai man who does not work but drink everyday to get their butt off from home. angry.png

  11. Hi,

I read from Thai Embassy that foreigner are prohibited to engage in food business in Thailand but what if the foreigner is married with his Thai partner?

Under marriage, is the foreigner eligible to own a eatery restaurant or work in the restaurant owned by the wife if the foreigner is not allow to own any eatery restaurant?

Can a non limited company employ and apply for WP for her foreign husband? Any clarification are apprecaited.

  12. Perhaps the "best " part of their system are that they are too lazy to probe and corrupted?

Lazy to probe in a sense where a they(Narcotic) abuse the system to apprend everyone in a group where they found only one culprit who actually possess drug without friends knowledge on an outing. Unfortunately, all will be handed the same length of jail sentences even though no drugs was found on those friends.

Corrupted as you push the money on the spot, you get scott free.

    So if that "their" system?

  13. Strange they arrested the patrons, but only 1 employee.

Exactly. Even a child would not believe such a statement. 100 officer were deployed? So they mean the gambling den operators are equipped with Ninja martial art alike that they dive underneath the mud for an escape route? Or the only employee is a very rare talent that able to multi task his job operation. cheesy.gif

The owner is never on the premises. He spends much of his time at his villa in Khao Yai.

Of course mate, i agreed the BIG BOSS will not appear in the den but do you believe only a soul runnning an illegal gambling den?? 555 clap2.gif
