  1. I tried to apply 1 entry Tourist visa on 29.11 and it was denied instantly.

In my visa there was 2 Tourist Visas (last one from 9/2012) and 1 student visa which just expired.

I had copies of flights in and out of Thailand and copies of my bankbook showing over 20K thb and all the necessary copies of passport.

The lady behind the desk went to the backroom with all my papers and came back soon saying "sorry but the officer said that there is too many Thai visas in your passport."

Same thing happened to my friend so i was prepared for this and had a nice holiday anyways. But never will try a visa from there again.

Edit: Almost forgot, i was the only customer at the embassy.

  2. Just if they are back to back from the same location is the norm. Also you broke the chain of tourist visas when you got the ED.

Have you done your very last entry just before your visa expires. If not that would give you another 90 days.

Hmm, i see. I have applied all of the Visa's from different cities and yes, i extended my visa just before the 1 year expired so i got the full 15 months.

  3. Hi,

i'm not sure if this is a appropriate question but let's give it a shot...

i have 3 tourist visa's and one Non Immigrant ED visa to Thailand in my passport.

I still have almost 3 months left on my Non Immigrant visa and since i'm going to Ho Chi Minh anyways, i will try to apply for the Double Entry Tourist visa.

I know the Double Entry is almost impossible to get but i'm worried if i even get the single entry. So what i'm asking is that is there any reliable agency in Ho Chi Minh which

could get me the Double Entry without me even going to the Embassy in person. I think all the other nearby countries have these kind of agencies but don't know about Vietnam...

  4. The first extension of stay is regarded as an address report so first use of normal TM.47 for reporting this will be due 90 days after the first extension application.

Last one was my second extension and i really don't remember if i fill the form for 90 days report, it was a long day.

It can be possible that i did fill it and got the paper which says when i have to do my next 90 days report and it just fell off from my passport...

But if i didn't fill it, will the fine be 2000 or 5000baht?

  5. Hi all,

i have Single Entry Non Immigrant ED visa which i have to extend every 3months. I did extend it back in March at Chaengwattana Immigration but now i don't find the "notification of residence" document anywhere and i'm not actually sure did i really remembered to do it. I have a stamp to stay in the country until June 14th but if i didn't do the "notification of residence", how much do you think they will fine me?? Seems to me that here some say 2000 some 5000. How much do you think it will be in my situation?

  6. Since previous topic about this subject was closed already, i decided to open a new one.

Does anyone have recent experiences about Cebu's consulate?

I would love to travel to Philippines and what would be greater than to get my Non immigrant ED visa from there.

Obviously i had read all the horror stories about Manila and it might not be even worth of trying.

But i'm seriously thinking of flying to Cebu for about 1 week holiday and applying the ED visa from there.

I'm currently studying in Thai language school which is approved by the Thai Ministry of education and according to them

there has been only few cases where the ED visa has been denied and the students have been from Africa or Mid East.

So any quite recent experiences about Cebu's consulate would be appreciated wai.gif

Also if i decide to apply the Visa from Cebu, what "extra papers" would you suggest me to bring?

Will bring copy of my Condo's rent agreement and planetickets at least.

Usually i don't keep much money in my Thai bank account but i do transfer money there quite often so maybe a bank statement wouldn't hurt also.

Anything else that would come to mind, something that they have for example asked in Manila's embassy?

  7. Hi,

has anyone been able to change their Tourist visa to Non Immigrant ED visa at the Immigration even they are just taking Thai classes and not studying in University.

I tried to ask this from the Immigration few days ago but couldn't reach anyone by phone the whole day. I really would hate to take another visarun but what i have heard the change is only possible to University students sad.png

  8. Yeah i know that these can almost never be really accurate. However i think i can follow my progress pretty well if

take the measurements every time at the morning before i have eat, drink, or exercise at all.

I'm interested in a scale like this: http://www.omron-hea.../HBF-508-E.html

I did tried the Hand held meter many times when i was younger and the difference wasn't that big, i think i showed like 2-3% less than

    with this:

    body-fat-calculator11.jpg

Obviously i didn't do that by myself.

And it is probably true that the more you have muscle, the more unreliable these monitor readings get.

  9. Hi,

does anyone know where in Bangkok i could find a good quality Body Composition Monitor?

For example from Omron or some other well known brand.

Or are the prices for the good quality ones sky high in here and would be wiser to order from internet?

  10. I'm also looking a gym around Ratchada. Don't wanna get married with California WOW or Fitness First.

And even without commitment i wouldn't use their Gym's, that HiSo bullshit just ain't for me.

So...Is there any just a normal gym with free weights and couple of equipments around early Ratchada/Rama 9?

A gym where you can actually sweat and breath heavy after a set without everybody looking at you like mental patient?

Thai Japan Youth Center has basically all i need but it's a bit far...

  11. Guys, i really need your help.

I have been so drunk the last 2 days that i dont remember the name of my hotel in Vientiane. I just have a feeling that the name would be K&B hotel but can not find anything about it from internet :(

All my stuffs are in the room, laptop, camera ect.

Another thing that i remember is the place near where i was, it was called Scandinavian bakery but its not the famous one near the Fountain. Just some smaller local place with a good baquettes. Im in so deep trouble, please help me:(

  12. You can buy also milk thistle. It's very, very good.

Many people say that Liv 52 would be better.

But anyway, where can i buy Milk thistle?

What i found in some Pharmacy the Silymarin dosage was so low that should eat the tablets with spoon like cereals and it would cost like hell.

Edit: Could you please put the price and dosage what you have?

Actually the local Pharmacist said he haves Silymarin (Samarin 140mg) and the price is 45b for 10tabs. He usually gives very good prices.

  14. Go to an Indian neighborhood or where there is a large concentration of Indians. The shops that service Indians are most likely to have some stock. As this is not a classified as a drug, but is registered as a "natural" food supplement, it falls outside the standard pharmacovigilance framework.

Now that I have helped you throw away your money, I do wish to offer my opinion that the product is all but useless. The reduction of alcohol, high fat intake and redmeat will achieve the desired results. Although the Indian manufacturers make claims of efficacy, I have yet to read any clinical studies that support the claims made in some jurisdictions. Note too that the product is marketed as "Livercare" in some markets and the claims made are not the same as those found on Indian based websites.

Hmm. thanks for the tip. Maybe i go to walk around in Pratunam.

I know a lots of bodybuilders who say that Liv 52 has really work for them when they have a high stress on their liver. And they have took liver tests with and without it, otherwise under same circumstances.

Should be more helpful than Milk Thistle (Silymarin).

  15. Nokia N8 o E7 with Symbian ANNA update (BELLE will follow soon), if you like the touch of a real phone, no plastic junk.

Both are good for the normal normal smartphone operation...if you opt for Galaxy or stuff like that, then you are a) young or/and B) love stupid games on the phone. Furthermore I realy hate to have these falt phones in my hand, not very comfortable.

For who was this writing for? Some quoting might be nice.

I myself have been buying Nokia's since -97 and basically just because it's from Finland like i am. Just lost N97 mini and 5800 before this, so some cheap phone with okay features would be nice for now on.
