  1. He gave the phone back like that's gonna make it all better. It's like robbing a bank and then giving the money back - hey, no harm no foul. I also love how the media always paints these teen fwits as victims : shame the prison must be terrible; hes got a job and works really hard - obviously not hard enough if he decided to steal a phone in Thailand. Thieves make my blood boil-the lowest form of respect and highest form of laziness. Somnamna

I completely agree mate. Stealing from someone that probably makes a very small percentage

  2. It's real bad when the kids either say "<deleted>" or give you the finger. Why are the parents of this kids teaching them these rude manners? I get this same thing here in Phuket, so it's not limited to Samui, even after a polite Mai Ow Khrap.

I don't think they even have parents. Person looking after them isn't generally the parent. Especially considering the fact that the kids don't look like eachothers siblings.

  3. At least Crusty isn't going on about bike riders!!!!!! :). Last night, around 10.00 PM, a friend of mine came off his Harley when a young Thai decided to suddenly turn right, with no indication. He had no lights either. My friend came off, trying to avoid the idiot, clipped the bike and crunched into a parked car. Dislocated shoulder and broken ribs. The Thai driver had no license and was drunk. We all arrived at the accident scene very quickly, followed by Samui Resue ( they did a great job!). And the BIB. A drunk policeman asked me for my license. I asked why. He said your bike, your accident. I explained that the rider had already been taken to Nathon Hospital. He shrugged his shoulders and staggered off. They decided it was all my friends fault. I asked why. "Farang", was the reply. Sometimes I feel like getting my AK47 out and shooting all the bast**rds.... :D

That's F**ked. Sorry to hear that mate.

  4. why were u tracking him or her. ... REVENGE your middle name ?

whistling.gif Haha! No no, I just like to hide in people rooms....... with a mask on. ph34r.gif

    All jokes aside,

He may have my mates car keys in his luggage. So you can imagine the stress levels down here, considering we won't be back for another 4 weeks minimum!

  5. Hi everyone, Not in Samui at the moment but need to chase a name of a place for a friend of mine. It's a small building across the road from Kao San Road Bakery/Restaurant on Chaweng Beach Road (Close to Burger King). The building sits on a corner, and I believe there's a massage place on the bottom. Mainly all locals reside there. Cheers.

  6. Good morning all!! Just recovering from a dam_n good Samui Bike weekend....... Then I read this:(

Dear oh dear. The usual bigoted rubbish from old age pensioners who don't like other people having a good time. OK. Some riders might have been a little over exhuberent . I'd much rather hear a loud bike for a few seconds than daily continual "get the seat earlier. get the seat earlier".

This weekend brought business to Samui (hotels, bars, restaurants), raised money for charity and raised awareness that Samui is a great place to visit. Apart from "Red Necks" who complain about it..... :)

    Perfect :D :D
