Just a comment I would like to make. As someone who has covictions I was wondering if I would have any problems trying to move permantly to Thailand.

My last conviction was in January this year. I pleaded guilt to a charge of assult with intent to injury. Maximum sentence is 3 years. It was a accident but now I have this against me also.

Prior to that my last one was in 2000 for brench of protection orders.There was nothing violent but the stupid law here in NZ says that you can be in the same street & brench it or driving down the same road.You don't have to see them. They see you & your done. A stupid law.

I get sentence in June for the lastest one. I was in Thailand last year & fell in love with place. I also fell in love with a thai national. I so want to be with them. We plan to start a business up in Phuket.

I have been giving him money to help him. I want to start a new life. I hate my country because I can't get ahead with these convictions where I believe I can over there.

Please be gentle to me. Truly I'm not a bad person. Can anyone help.
