Cellular Data: ON allows you to send/receive data on the iPhone. The other criteria do not play a role in your large data waste.

Get a larger data plan. An iPhone without unlimited data plan is just half the fun.

I'm always wondering why people spend ~ 700$ for an iPhone and being stingy with an upgrade to the next bigger data plan.

DTAC internet just got back one hour ago

I'm having issues with my DTAC data connection since yesterday evening. I'm using an iPhone 4 with unlimited prepaid DTAC internet data plan.

In the settings, the personal hotspot button keeps spinning, I've already reset the iPhone to factory settings but it's still not working.

When I logged in the DTAC web portal to check my current data plan package, it says that the server can't process the current operation. Is anybody else having issues with it these days? Is the trouble caused by DTAC or my iPhone?

I highly doubt that an official iPhone 4 from TrueMove is jailbroken. That would be kind of weird for an official provider, or?

Do not jailbreak the phone as long as you do not really need the additional features, some cydia apps drain your battery quick.

Additionally, the usage of EDGE saves a lot of battery.. TrueMove offers EDGE in downtown bangkok if you turn of 3G. DTAC offers EDGE by default.

Turn off wi-fi and bluetooth.

The personal hotspot feature can be turned on at all times since it goes to standby when there's no device connected to the iPhone. I am not sure if bluetooth goes into standby.

My safari keeps crashing whenever I want to post/reply to a topic here. As soon as I hit the text box, safari crashes. Most people experience this problem, I would really like to know why you create a post here.
