  1. I you don't feel like going out, I know Food by Phone deliver Christmas dinners (on the 25th) from Bourbon Street and the Black Swan, in my opinion two great restaurants!

Bourbon Street's one is 775Bt, so fairly priced (and food there is usually very good). Black Swan's is with its 1600Bt quite expensive, but knowing the Black Swan you ll probably get a huge amount of good food for it!

  2. If the facts are as stated then she fought off a rapist who happened to be her estranged husband. The rapist died in the ensuing fight, self defense.

Just a though, but what if

She murdered him then bit off his xxx in a vindictive rage, then stabbed herself in the arm to make it look more real.

As he died before the divorce she gets everything ..... no witness to say what happened. Murder.

Oh sorry, forgot this is ThaiVisa ........ Man always bad/wrong ... Woman always good/right

Good point... Guess we'll never know!

  3. A bit late with my post, but here it goes anyway:

  4. No one seems to have any sympathy for the guy. Yes, he did a stupid thing, worse to endanger the lives of others. Done in a moment of passion, we are all capable of doing stupid things.

I hope his injuries aren't too serious and he gets well soon. The next concern for him is the arson charge, that will likely be pretty expensive. What a mess to be in.

"Done in a moment of passion, we are all capable of doing stupid things".

Stabbing yourself in the heart and burning down a building? A tad extreme for most no ?

    Just a tad!

  5. Nice people don't stab other people...

That is not exactly true, Loz. Nice people DO murder other people when they get provoked enough. Who knows what happened in this sad case. I can think of a dozen different scenarios... none of which pertain to money of the deceased. I've come very close to murdering a few people myself, but none were personal acquaintances. And, I consider myself to be a nice guy.

Nice people DO murder?? Can t say I agree with you, unless we re talking about being in a situation of life and death!

  6. Best Handling Car Under 1.2 Million is that new or used ?

    Something a bit different

    2 year old MERCEDES-BENZ A Class

    2 year old ALFA ROMEO - 156 - Selespeed 2.0 AT

3 year old Volvo C30 funky and rare here

    Did see in a tent a early 2009 1.4 VW Golf @ 1.210,000 baht

An Alfa? You might as well stay at the dealer's office since it ll break down as soon as you drive it longer than a day!

  7. You'll get acclimatized eventually

I have been waiting for that for 45 years  . Hot and humid is just not good for running. I have lived in Vietnam and now live in Cambodia and in both places I get up at 04:00 to go running Great time: heat is manageable and there is no traffic.

If you cannot get up and need to run later: drink lots, put ice cubes in a Bandanna and tie around your neck; soak a baseball cap in water and out in the fridge prior to running; put a sponge on top of your head, ice cubes on top of that, baseball cap on top of that.

Finally: just suck it up. Beats going running in sleet and sub-zero temperatures

I m afraid that getting up (very) early and drinking lots of water is the only way to go running outdoors! Otherwise the only option left (I can see) is enjoying some quality time with a treadmill
