In the picture the girls all look very happy, most girls who suffer at the hands of Paediphiles even when smiling look sad. Mind you in the same photo they neither look undernourished or ill clothed. Could he have genuinely been helping these girls to compensate for his past sins? Have any of these girls complained about his behaviour?
Don't even go there man.

I do think that new Belgian driver (dambrosio or something like that) might surprise some people. True, with the Virgin car he won't go for 1st place, BUT I do think he might surprise a lot of people.

Quality tourists.... Pattaya is a sleeze dump. Then there was someone smoking weed in public, then there were scam gangs, girly bars.. Maybe we should just group up separate zones in Thailand for the different classes of tourists. Pattaya is obviously for the scums.
Can't say I totally disagree

Since I'm part of this list, I guess I'm going for a visa exempt entry stamp . I just thought that starting from the 1st of April 2011, we would need to pay as well..

Yes I know many on here will attack me and say it is just a normal sexual activity but I don't believe it is.

I looked for some posts that might provide me with an answer, but haven't found any so far.
I ve read that you will start having to pay again for tourist visa, starting from the 1st of April 2011. But what about a simple passport stamp?
My non-immigrant visa expires the 10th of April, after which I ll officially be a tourist. Now here's the deal.
I m going to Malaysia, stay there a couple of days after which I want to get back into Thailand as I have a flight to Hanoi 2 weeks later. A passport stamp should do as this covers 14 or 15 days. But will it be necessary to pay for the stamp as well?
Moreover, 12 days later I ve got a flight to Bangladesh, meaning I ll be in Bkk for 2 days. Stamp again! Another 12 days later I have to be back in Bkk to get another flight, so: Stamp again!
I sure do hope it is not necessary to pay for a stamp, or I ll lose some money I could easily spend on better things :-)
Does anyone know more about this? And if it is necessary to pay for the stamp, maybe it s a good idea to get a double entry tourist-visa?
Thanks for the advice!

Obesity (at least according to some random MSN article recently) is a leading factor in bullying. That's one thing you have some if not a lot of effect in your children's lives. IMO it's probably safe to say that athletes don't get bullied too much either.
I agree with you. The overweight kids always had a realyy tough time, but if you were good at sport generally speaking you were free of the bullying issues.

Definite over the top arrogance!
Many options for them, this is NOT one of them.
Quite some Dutch people just think they truly are the centre of the world.
Im Dutch.. and they are idiots. Let them pay for their own safety, why would others have to pay for their trip.
Luckily you ve got some reasonable ones as well!

A worse image is the various online Thai news sources that have published still photos captured from Lepetit's CDs to publically show, without pixelating, him molesting small boys.
This is Thailand!

I'm sure he thinks the CIA put the chip in his head or maybe he has been listening to too many of the "Coast to Coast" radio shows.

UPDATE
World Record for the longest continuous kiss broken in Pattaya
PATTAYA: -- The World Record for the longest continuous kiss has been broken here in Pattaya. At the Royal Garden Plaza in South Pattaya a special world record attempt had been organized to celebrate Valentines Day and required couples to engage in a continuous kiss for more than 32 hours which was the previous record set in Germany in 2009. 14 couples, who had to prove they were genuine married couples or were in long-standing relationships, puckered-up and attempted to break the record.

I wonder how many other nations have accused the World Heritage Committee of undermining the true purpose behind the creation of UNESCO, which is to promote world peace?
Haha good one!

ok,passengers in vans are required to wear seat belts --will seat belts be available in the vans??? I take the public transport bus from Pattaya to Bangkok about 2-3 times a month (very easy to take and comfortable by the way) but I never see a seat belt available to buckle up with.
probably not :-)

World wide most all universities do NOT force adults to wear uniforms. This is just a symptom of Thailands ancient mindset about how to control youth, which is utterly out of tune with world standards. Unless you couldn't forced wearing of Chadors for muslim unis.
No young girl wants to look like just another cipher in the same clothes as ALL her friends, so they use what assets they have by wearing the tightest clothes that show off what they have. If they were free to dress as they chose, in a reasonable manner, they likely would dress MORE conservatively relative to tightness and what they try and show.
The 'authorities' are clueless about all this.
I believe I agree!

What a breath of fresh air. Its good to hear some commonsense from an academic for a change.
Absolutely!

I fly 10,000 miles to get away and he follows me....is there no place safe?
You flew 10,000 miles to get away from the president of the USA because you feared for your safety? Really? I guess you could hide out in the USA until the coast is clear if he decides to come here and visit; he wouldn't think to look for you there. It's too obvious!
irony, someone?
