bars, lots, in the weekend the road allong the mekong turns into a walking street with lots of bars and restaurants.
weather, on the day around 30 at night 15 feels cool
rental, dont know but there are lots of condo's new build and empty, might be for rent. hotels cheap from 450 thb up
transportation, tuk tuk
temples along the mekong in the city at least 4 in walking distance
busses, from the busstation to laos, bkk, udon thani chang rai, rayong
AND daily flights from airoport to bkk 12.00 and 17.00
nice place to stay friendly people, bad drivers

Depends on the use of Kw
I monitor my consumption very well, because I also use solar for producing electricity.
f.e. when use 300 Kw we pay 4,20 thb /Kw all tax inxluded
when use 600 Kw we pay 4,50 thb/ Kw all tax included
so the more you use the more you pay.
another thing to take in mind
WHEN YOU ARE BUILDING A NEW HOME TOU GET CONNECTED TO THE GRID YOU GET A CONSTRUCTION TEMP METER. YOU ALSO PAY A LOT MORE FOR TOUR ELECTRICITY (ALMOST THE DOUBLE AMOUNT.
SO BUILDING FINISHED RUSH TO THE PEA OFFICE AND ASK FOR A DOMESTIC METER.

I just came back from the airport.
The shield is still there, I asked the chief security forces about your problem.
He told me the shield is still there but they have no problem with people parking their car overnight.
So PROBLEM SOLVED This is Thailand anyway.
About your helmet and clothes you can ask someone from AIR ASIA or NOK AIR for storage at their office until your flight back to Nakhon Phanom.
Always nice to help someone out.

No problem at all.
At the front gate there is a shield telling you overnight parking is not allowed.
I dont know if they allow parking but the shield is still there.
I check it out for you to be sure, no problem

Unfortunately it is not allowed to park overnight at the airport.
I might have a solution for you.
I live at the front end of the airport road (4 km)
If you trust me you could park at my home. I offer you a free ride to the airport.

5 years now in nakhon phanom and also happy living
city is booming, with even a walking street in the weekend on the banks of the naam kong , lots of restaurants
family is great
immigration service great service
bridge to Lao is great
only missing a shopping center like Makro or big C
Bangkok ranked 65th with 32.15 points, probably due to political conflicts in the capital and time constraints for family get-togethers.
Bangkok gets the consolation prize for most happy endings though.

if your looking for a 2hnd tractor this site might help to make a choise. specifications from different brands you can get from internet sure. there is a lot for sale (mostly import from Japan. it also gives a good price indication. I did find mine.

i also started with a above ground pool, its a no go. filters are bad quality and useless after a few days (cartrige)
i changed for a real inground pool and problem solved.
the biggest problem for you is the water temp.is to high.
after a few days the water turns green (algae)
my advice as its yust a splash pool take the water out after using it and clean the pvc with a brush or scotch bright. and put new water in when you are going to use it again.
working with chemicals pump and filters would cost you a lot more than 2 m3 water every time.

question is is there a hospital in the isan with a heart center, my friend needs a heart check up and probably a following catheterization and angioplasty with stent .
he knows there are several hospitals in bkk but he wants to do the job if possible in the isan (udon-mukdahan-surin area)
anny suggestions and experiance would be welcome

We need a aircond van for 6 to 8 adult .
sightseeing in nakhon phanom/ sakhon nakhon area for 1 day.

i just build my own pool ready 10 x 4.5 m deep 1.5 m
rebar the question is one or dubbel layer?
if choose dubbel layer 20 x 20 cm is ok put the second layer in the middel of the first one and the distance between the steel rods is 10-12 cm
i took the 9 mm strong one in dubbel layer mase 20 cm. and concrete 20 cm for walls and 25 for the bottem ( no piling or beams needed overhere)
choice off the rebar you can buy different strengths in different size so 12 mm strong or 12 mm miner quality
the 12 mm min looks about the same as 9 mm strong one. read the text on the end of the rebar such as SD 24 and test the rebar by trying to bent it with your bear hands. ther is a lot off fake steel in thailand sold for the quality one. so look for a reliable shop,

in Nakhon phanom, a lot of water pulled out from the back of crazy driving pick-ups of from people forming roadblocks and throwing water to the passing people or cars. and a lot of beer and whiskey, and a lot of drunk people. And a top day for the hospital by all this.
not the watergun fighting parties same in pattaya or bkk.
If you like it have big fun, if you dont stay at home and drikn your beer at home with friends.

Due to the temp closure of Don Muang in bkk, all flights in and out have been stopped.
so better take the vip bus 900 thb and a 11 hour drive at night.

januari we want to start building our swimmingpool 10x5 mtr.
Is there any decent swimmingpoolsuplier aroun Sakon, orde we have to travel to udon
we build with local workers, so only need to buy the hardware.
there are many swimmingpools around sakon, so there should be a decent swimmingpool suplier around there, as we live in nakhon phanom, a trip to sakon isnt the problem, only haave to know where to go

Nok Air has fleights 5 x a week to Nakhon Phanom and Sakhon Nakhon look at their time table departure from bkk don muang airport.
or take the vip neight bus from bkk to nakhon phanom, but mostly have to buy the ticket the day before or else sold out.
