The charge will be "Attempted Murder". The so-called "friend" will be jailed for a long time ... and then deported. He'll regret his stupidity.

A brief and well-written article. I was expecting to read a biased, CNN-MSNBC-style of anti-Trump article. Thank you for not writing their kind of rubbish!

Money buys justice in Thailand. This is well known.

It's ethnically prejudiced and narrow minded people like you that Thailand doesn't need. I'll help you pack. The guy made a mistake, we don't know the circumstances, but he showed remorse and respect and he paid restitution. If everyone is satisfied then it's none of your business. So take your bigotry and prejudices back home to your own country where you fit right in. Most of the Brits I've met are fine people and certainly better than half the Americans back in the US, which is where I'm from.
I wish you had the time to scold posters like this every day. There are many angry people on the Forum.

I feel sorry for the dog. Is anyone looking after his dog now?

There are stories daily here and on the television news of people who get angry, who can't control their emotions, and who end up injured or in jail as a result. There is one simple solution to this ... rescue cats. Your life will be filled with unconditional love and you will calm down tremendously. You will avoid situations such as you read about in the news. My wife and I look after 24 rescued cats. They are so loving!

10 minutes ago, Dont confuse me said:This slag was attempting to take heroin to her lovely family, (says a lot about her family).
She gets arrested and banged up, gets a result only doing 7 out of a full life sentence.
Now this scum is probably going to profit out of her crime.
I sincerely hope that no one buys her book.
you seem to be a very unhappy person.

I don't think that people care. It's just a little girl peeing. People are too busy trying to survive to care about trivial matters.

I never go into the sea without a life jacket, even in High Season weather. I used to train staff at resorts in the Maldives. I would go snorkeling after classes but never without a life jacket on. Most tourists didn't wear one. They had the "Nothing can happen to me. I'm on holiday!" attitude. But even when the sea is calm there is usually a current running parallel to the island and if you don't turn towards the shore in time because you're admiring the fish and coral beneath you, you can float past the island easily. Only with a life jacket on can you get back via the other side of the island.

I think that most expats here are Left Wing Biden supporters who believe everything that the anti-Trump mainstream media says. If Biden wins, we'll have WW3 for sure. CNN, MSNBC, CBS etc., forget to mention this and all his failures. Be careful about what you wish for, Dementia Joe fans.

The car driver is to blame.
The motorcyclist's speed is irrelevant here.
The car driver should have attended to the injured motorcyclist as soon as he got out of the car.
His Mercedes Benz insurance will cover all the expenses while he should add some extra.

Thailand seems to be attracting a lot of scumbag, sewer-level foreigners nowadays.

When I arrived in Thailand in 1984 I discovered that foreigners were respected and trusted. Now there is so much foreign human trash in Thailand. I'm glad that I live far, far away from the trash.

I think that he'll end up in prison for 10-20 years without parole for insulting Buddhism. Good!

I doubt if the kick in the back was more than a nudge with a foot. It wasn't like to kicked a football. The doctor may be milking the incident for malicious reasons. She obviously wasn't injured. I think that the man should not be removed from the country. Watch the Thai News every day - thieves, robbers, murderers, hit-and-run drivers, drunk drivers, etc. They do far worse than this man, but we don't see the same outrage.

I wonder how the Elites will bring Yingluck back. They won't use the same ruse of illness ... surely.

For Thais: Anyone caught setting fires - 10 years in prison with no parole.
Land that is being cleared by burning the crop - 10 years in prison for the landowner with no parole.
Anything less and the situation will not change.- 1

I wonder how many life jackets the boat had and if they were easily available. I will not be surprised if we hear that they were locked up in case they were stolen.

A dowry never played a role in my marriage because my wife's an orphan who was working in a noisy factory on the outskirts of Bangkok. Because she has no parents and because she was happy to have a new life a dowry was never even mentioned. But I expect that foreigners will be required to pay quite a lot of money nowadays, especially if a lot of gold is expected. One Baht is around 40,000 Baht now.

The driver is either Russian or Chinese, in my opinion.

I think that the restaurant should have reported the couple because of the dire potential consequences for the Waitress. Also, I doubt if this was the first time they had cheated a shop or restaurant.

It's easy to say: "Kick him out of the country!" and suchlike. But the man is clearly going through a lot of stress and worry to behave like that.

Why are so many people posting such uncompassionate comments? It happens every time there is an article about someone in difficulty. Are you so unhappy and angry with life that you cannot do otherwise? Are your lives really barren of love and kindness?
