I'm really looking for more detail than that to be honest, thanks anyway theoldgit.
I'm trying to find out if I need photo evidence to include the wifes 2 children. The application is for my wife and the children are attached to her application as dependants. We have plenty of photos from the last 2 years of me and wife but only a few have all of us in the photo.

Thanks in advance.

Hello theoldgit, sorry, I am always leaving out important information. So, to be precise, we are in Derby in the UK. We have translations done in Bangkok from 3 years ago for our original visa application for residency in UK and I was worried that when we apply for FLR(m) visa that they might not accept them, so I thought I should try to get them done again in the UK. I don't know if I am being over cautious but this visa is for my wife and her 2 children and is going to be many thousands of pounds. Thanks. John S

Hi everybody, hope you are staying safe and well. Does anybody know of any decent translation services for Thai to UK translations based in UK? I need a couple of translations for a FLRm visa application.

Did any of you get any new translations done, just wondering if I can use original translations from our first visa application which was done in Thailand.

My wife's visa also expires in Feb 2021 and I'm just in the final throws of collating all documents and filling in the online application form myself. Just as bigyin did, I included her parents, son and sisters for this question.

Thanks Guemlum

Hello all Thai visa. I am currently filling in the online form flr(m) for my wife and her children. Their visas run out in February 2021. Just got to a section where it is asking for details of her family and friends in Thailand, potentially a very long list. I remember a few years ago seeing a pdf. for guidance notes which was quite detailed for each question on the form but I cannot find it for love or money. Have any of you comes across it? If you have or have an idea where to find it then please message me back. Thanks in advance. Stay safe.

Unfortunately, he'll probably have to leave. I think he may be able to petition the local immigration office for a waiver based on his health condition but they tend to frown on foreigners who are unable to support themselves.
Don't know what's unfortunate about it, Thailand hardly need foreign residents who are wiped out financially after an illness. People on such a short leash have no business living as expatriates. Hopefully, the family can join him in Farangland and maybe the wife can work to support the family.
Dont know why people assume he is "wiped out" financially. He hasn't got the 800000bht savings anymore, I know he gets a good income but i'm not sure how much, maybe it'll take him 2 years to save it back up, he just wants some options as to how to handle the situation he is in, nothing more.
If you read my original question again maybe that'll help.

Hello all. friend of mine is a US man aged 66 living in Aranyaprathet and married to Thai national. He was on a retirement visa but due to illness and the hospital costs he cannot afford the visa. Can anybody suggest his options please. Thanks in advance, John

Does anybody know if it's possible to buy a paint tray in Thailand. I am in Aranyaprathet and have been to 3 paint suppliers in town. When I try to tell them what I want, they look at me gone out, even my crude drawing is looked at in bemusement. Please help...
Further leave to remain in UK. Help notes.

Thanks 7by7. I think I confused myself by looking at another forum and a member on there was given a list by a visa agent as to what he needed, photos being one.
You are correct about the online application. It does tell you what evidence you need. I guess I'm so used to gathering photo evidence since our first tourist visa up to the first visa for UK residency.
Thanks again for your knowledge and assistance.
