  1. Very sad to read your story your dog sounds a handful but like many people will agree dogs are pack animals and need a pack leader. It sounds like you are not strong enough to be the pack leader there are very few dogs that are untrainable but alas many dog owners do not have the strength to be the pack leader therefore the dog becomes the leader.I have owned and trained rottweilers for many years my wife could walk anywhere with two of them on leads with ease not matter whether another dog or human walked past her.Again it is all about the pack leader syndrome. All this does not solve your problem but hopefully gives you an insight as to the problems you have encountered what makes it harder is the size of the dog.I took in a great dane for a freind who could not control him so i have experienced first hand what you have gone through.I wish we could help you but we live near Hat Yai so a little far away from you.I agree totally with the other post to train your dog you need to be present with the trainer so that you can be taught as well.

The best of luck finding a new home for him i will look out for the pictures of him.

  2. First of all many thanks to everyone who assisted me with previous questions on visa application.

The good news is my wife and myself have now got "o" type visa's from the embassy in Hull and yes as you all said they were very helpful and fast.We were so impressed with the service, having spent the last 16 years dealing with Indian Imigrationand the problems they throw at you we were amazed at how easy it was.

    Thanks again to you.

If i can help anyone with my limited knowledge drop me a line.

  3. Back again with more problems.Further to my last post re visa from the uk.

I am a british citizen sat waiting for my passport to be returned from the indian embassy,i fly to India on 30th July then on to Thailand. If i do not have time to go to Thai Embassy in Hull can i apply for an O type visa from Thai Embassy in Mumbai or do i have to do from my country of origin (United Kingdom).

Thanks again in advance for all your help.

  4. I think i am leaving it very late to get the visa our friend is in india now and we are in uk i will have to contact her and see if she can email me a copy of her id card i will speak to embassy and see what they advise are they helpful? indian embassies we have found in the past are not i hope thai embassies are this will be my first dealings with them.

    Thanks again for your help.

  5. Thanks for the answer my wife is also a uk citizen we leave the uk on 30 june going to india our passports are as i write this at the indian embassy for our indian visas when we get them back it should leave enough time to go to the thai embassy in hull and apply for the visas.Just like to say this is a very good site i am a member of india mike which is like this but covers all things in india. After spending the last 16 years in india we now feel its time for a change of scenery we want to thailand last year and fell in love with it.Hopefully with the help of our thai friend who we have known for the last 7 years we will enjoy thailand for the next 16 years. Thanks again for your help

  6. i am a uk citizen who will be going to thailand in the next few weeks i along with my wife will be going via india (where we will be meeting our thai friend) on to thailand.we will want to stay there for a minimum of one year.two questions first will i have to apply for a visa in my home country and two is it possible to stay for that length of time on an o type visa this seems to be the one that fits what i want as we will be staying with our thai friends family
