No one bothered to say anything to him and the police just stood there waving traffic on. To do it in the middle of the airport though that some high quality tourist there. -
Thailand Introduces Online TM6 as Tourism Fee Faces Delays
HuaHinHim replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Not really sure how the new TM6 enhances the visitor experience but I do appreciate the new automatic gates in immigration for departure. Hopefully they will be up and running for arrivals soon. not sure Thai immigration will be too happy to have their jobs taken over by automation though, especially if it means reducing the immigration workforce -

For me it’s the disrespecting of laws that most others are following and the fu attitude for other travellers. Seems to be how society is today unfortunately. -

Hi, not sure if anyone can help but I’m trying to apply for a DTV from Australia and stuck on one of the mandatory questions that the applicant uploads the DTV of the DTV applicant? How do you do this if it’s the first time applying for it? I went through the website questions about eligibility for this visa and it’s says I am eligible but this one is puzzling. Have been trying to call the Canberra Embassy and the visa section number on their website but it just goes to a messaging service which no one replies to. any advice is greatly appreciated

Anutin Pilots Plane to Deliver Heart Transplant Team
HuaHinHim replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That’s a bit OTT mate. I have been a commercially rated helicopter pilot since the 90’s and know a few people lucky enough to have plenty of money so they can have the fancy sofisticated non turbine powered aircraft and turbine powered and I am very happy to fly with them. I accept there’s more training to fly them competently but to say I wouldn’t trust a private pilot would be on a case by case basis. I’ve know and know of several commercial pilots with high flight hours that have lost aircraft through senseless errors, some are lucky to be with us still and some are not. You must have had a bad experience. -

Thai senators come under pressure over PM vote
HuaHinHim replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It’s a consequence of the constitution they voted for -
It’s empirical. People had it done to them and then it’s their turn to pay it forward. Not saying it’s right, just how it is how it has been and for some how it always will be. I used to think it would be the current generation that would sort it out but I think I’m being overly optimistic. It’s going to take a bit more than that
