  1. Hello All.

I took TRT for 3 years in America before moving to Thailand 2 years ago. It was extremely beneficial to myself. What is the best clinic in Bangkok or Pattaya to get TRT? and what is the monthly cost over here in Thailand?

I have emailed a few places but they just tell me to come in and won't answer the basic question of how much per month.

Thank you for your help Thai Visa readers.

  2. Hello All.

Im in Thailand on a tourist visa and need to get a Chinese Tourist or Business Visa? is this possible? I am a US citizen and have a letter from our Chinese company inviting me and a letter from my US company with my itinerary and that they will be paying for everything. I also have a flight from Shanghai back to LAX and hotel reservation.

Do you all in your past experiences expect this to be a hassle getting a visa from the Chinese consulate in Bak?

    Thank you

  4. Hello All, I wanted everyone to have a update on the children's Dental facility at Samitivej sriracha hospital. What an amazing experience this place was for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She has Milk mouth or decaying teeth in the front. Unfortunately I am not hear to take care of her at all times like I would as I work out of the country for extended periods of time. So I looked at multiple places throughout Pattaya and for some reason the best place I felt for her was the hospital with the children's facility. You have to book there to get a reservation as they are not open for children everyday during the week and weekend. We where fortunate we got an appointment on Saturday so we took it.

We arrived and the ladies at the front desk where extremely nice and it was very easy to fill out all the forms as this was our first time in the hospital. When it was time for my daughter to go into the children's treatment room the nurse and doctor came out to greet my daughter and started speaking so nice and soft and comforting for my daughter. We went in the room and it is geared towards children as they have toys to play with and the decor is all for children in the treatment room. They both talked to my daughter first for 5 minutes getting to know her and making her feel comfortable with both of them.

When they finally laid her down they gave her a Hello Kitty mirror to use to watch what they where doing. So after the teeth review they needed to do X-rays and then bring her back in the treatment room. They figured that she also has some cavities to treat as well. I figured this was going to be a very long process with the cavities and the tooth decay but the dentists let us know that they will be treating the cavities today to make sure my daughter can handle them over her and with instruments in her mouth. Then they will fix the tooth decay next time with caps to make her front teeth somewhat beautiful again until her adult teeth come in. We where very lucky that after the X-rays that she did not need full root canals on the 2 front teeth.

So as they started with her cavities I have never seen doctors treat someone with such gentle care and encouragement. I do not remember this as a kid when I went to the dentist. They where so positive and had little toys that counted the time when they needed the time counted..They talked with her and made her feel comfortable. Encouraged her the entire time and it was anything but scary for my little girl. My daughter was part of the entire procedure and it went perfect. Now the cost isn't as cheap as all the other places but it was well worth the extra money for the comfort, safety, and pleasant experience for my daughter.

the cost was as follows. 2 cavities fixed today

900 thb - Doctor Fee & cavity fix

900 thb -Doctor Fee & cavity fix

    140 thb - sterile

    750 thb - Xray

100 thb - Medicine that they put in tooth trays

    Total 2790 thb

Now I don't know the exact cost for the next treatment for the tooth decay. I will update this the next time we go in February. I thought this might help some of you out there looking for a quality dental experience for your child in Thailand.

  6. Hello,

I have 2 toddler children in Thailand and I'm looking for websites to buy toys online and have them delivered.

I have checked Toys R Us .... But they don't deliver from what I have seen online!

Does anyone have any Toy websites that myself and my family can use to purchase toys online in Thailand that delivers??

    Thank you

  7. Is it best to place the pump next to the house and the water tank away.

meaning my water tank will be 20 meters away from the house and I want to put the Pump right next to the house to get better water pressure inside.

Or do I need the pump next to the water tank??

  8. If they are Thai he could also get an extension of stay at immigration.

    Some more info would help.

    Hello

yes both my children are Thai.. I have already in the Past visited them here in Thailand on a NON Immigrant type O visa that I secured in Los Angelas. I just dont have time after I finish with my contract to go to LA to renew my visa.

So im wondering if I can easily do this at a close by embassy??

and which one is the closest to Sa Kaeo?

    Thank you

  9. guys

I am getting my yearly non imm O in the US. It is based on me having a son in Thailand, not a marriage (I am not married to my son's mother).

Do the same rules apply for this case? i.e. 40.000 income or 400000 in the bank?

    thanks

Those financial rules are for an extension of stay at immigration here. They are the same for both except there is no 60 day reguirement.

There is no rules for getting a visa it depends upon where you apply.

Have you legitimized yourself as the childs father? You may not be able get a multiple entry without it.

    Hello All,

I received a Non Immigrant O Visa before when visiting my Son and Daughter in Thailand. What is the Closest Thai Embassy to get the same Non Immigrant O Visa in ?

I live in Sa Kaeo Thailand.. We do have a border crossing in Aranyaprathet which is close but I dont think you can get Non Immigrant visa there. Just a 15 day for going across and back.

do I have to go to Laos or KL ? or is there one closer?

    thank you

  10. Thank you everyone for the replies to my questions. We decided to go with the 6000watt Panasonic Shower.

I would rather not have to worry about my shower water ever being cold.. even in the middle of the hot season I still like a Hot shower.. Call me crazy its just what I like.

And I have passed on to the Ms... that we will need to change the wiring to 4mm to be safe.

Thank you all again for your input.

  11. I am wondering what the difference is between a 6000 wattt Electric Shower unit and a 3500 watt unit??

is the 6000 watt better and will the water get hotter because its 6000 watt??

I dont know anything about electricity so sorry if this is a stupid question.

  12. Hello,

I have a question for all..

When my daughter was born my GF named my daughter without giving her a English name as well. We are wanting to add a English name on her Thai Birth papers and her USA Passport .

So she would have English, Thai and then last name on her papers. Now she only has Thai name and last name.

    Is this a difficult process???

And what is the process in Thailand and at the USA Embassy to accomplish this?

    Thank you
