Hello. I am owner of a condo unit in Bangkok which got lot of damages from the earthquake (mainly craks on walls). The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) can offer assistance up to 49,500 baht. To claim assistance, we have to : 1. Request form for the certificate of disaster 2. Copy of the daily report from the local police station 3. Copy of ID card / Passport (for foreigners) 4. Copy of house registration 5. Copy of condominium title deed 6. Floor plan indicating the damaged area 7. Photos of the damaged I can provide all these document. I have a house registration (blue book) but is is empty with no name. Will this be suitable or do I need to provide additional documentation ? Any experience with this ?

Hello. I have heard that I can get re-entry stamp at DMK airport Immigration. The re-entry counter seems to be located just after immigration control. As I will leave the country for vacation, is there a risk that immigration control cancel my retirement visa before I get the re-entry ? Just need some clarification. I want to be sure. Thank you. 🙂

Hello. I plan to travel to Bangkok from Belgium (from airport), so I will get 30 days Thai visa exemption. At the beginning of these 30 days, I plan to have a short touristic trip to Lao (3 or 4 nights) crossing the terrestrial border. After this trip to Laos, I will be back to Thailand by crossing the terrestrial border. Will I get a new 30 days Thai visa exemption ? I have heard that may be, I will get 15 days only. Is it possible to get a re-entry permit with a 30 days visa exemption before going to Laos, so I can keep my full 30 days ?

How Time Deposit work in Thailand ?
zenplay replied to zenplay's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
He did not tell me, that's why I ask. I just know the deposit rate 1,70% (Krungsri bank) -
Hello. I am wondering how Time Deposit work in Thailand. For example, imagine that I put 100,000฿ on a Time Deposit account for 12 months (Interest Rate is 1,70% for 12 months). What happen if I would like to withdraw all the money before the 12 months ? What will happen if I withdraw after 3 months, or 6 months ? Will I get some interests or nothing ?

Non-O visa (Retirement purpose)
zenplay replied to zenplay's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
One more question ???? : I can see on TM87, that they need "Rental Agreement between the Applicant and the Landlord". I am living in my own condo unit that I bought 8 years ago. So I guess that a copy of the Title Deed is sufficient. Am I right ? Thx. -
