Im an Australian retiree.

I came to Thailand last year on a dental trip .. I found the service excellent, and indulged myself.

I found the cost of living most atractive.

Some of life's door opened for me at home, and I was able to sell up, and I moved here in March of this year. Since then I have been learning about the new environment, and some of the good things and some of the not so good things.

My intention is to explore the country and see if I want to stay here on a longer term basis.

I have a non imigrant visa for a year, and I just found out that it is equivalent to a retirement visa. I brought an ancient campervan into the country with me ... This seems to be a big mistake, as I'm being seriously restricted by regulations that do not make any sense to me. I'm hoping to resolve this soon, or to send tha car back home.
