Haven't we seen that even monks are not free from corruption. Thai politics are about money not values anyway. What they need is a party that is actually concerned with the entire nation and not just about their own bank accounts.

Corruption is the least of our worries, first we need a stable government! Having multiple popular parties might force election winners to forge a coalition in order to achieve a majority.

Finding things on google depend a lot on the right search terms and maybe I search wrong.. I called around some agencies I found on google and only got quotes for port-to-port (and one quote for door-to-door that makes DHL look cheap).. Probably Songkran is not the best time to call around.

I have firmware Gaw9.2U6J-1-TU-R1B031-TH.en on my Nlink router. And as far as I can see there is no option to turn of the landing page. How would that option look like? I guess that maybe I should upgrade the firmware..

So, what exactly is the point of the OP? Too many PADI Instructors in Thailand? Would this in theory not mean that the diveshops have enough choice employing instructors, therefore increasing the quality of the teaching? In reality of course a lot of instructors are hired because of language skills (or drinking buddy) as opposed to experience.

The PADI Instructor Examination (IE) is a monitored exam focusing on knowledge and presentation skills. Every PADI Instructor at least passed the minimum requirement for this. The IE does not look at dive-leadership skills.. There is a requirement of at least 100 dives, making it possible to go from "zero to hero" in as little as 6months. It's really up to the individual if this little time would be enough to become a good instructor. I'm guessing that this well known UK diver is complaining about the fact that very few of the Thailand based instructors have a history as a navy diver!
