Note to self: Honda Cities don't float.
But seriously folks, does one need a SUV in CM, or can one do all one needs to do in a regular old sedan?
-
So...I need a cross between a bicycle, a tank and a Mazda Miata that floats?
-
If you live in CM, what is your daily vehicle? Do think a 4x4 is necessary? 4x2? Or, is a compact sedan fine? Naturally this varies based on usage, but I guess I am just wondering if everyday driving is basically straight roads or are you encountering hills and off road situations commonly?

Yeah but, we are all anonymous here...right?

Bumping a famous thread - for rainy season is almost upon us again.
No rain today in North BKK - any rain in your neck of the woods?
-
I like it.
What was the original punchline?

I'm tired of cleaning up crap all day long.

2) in thailand generally Mitsu has few dealers compared to Toyota: has anyone found this to be an issue when traveling?
Any thoughts appreciated.
I think if you are travelling you could probably estimate when a scheduled service is going to come about. A quick visit to the Mitsu webpage would locate you a dealer not too far from wherever you are. If you didn't have a computer I think it would be a reasonable guess to say that every 'big town' you pass through has a Mitsu dealer.

Actually, I quite like the looks of the new Everest. It's very similar to a Land Rover Discovery.
Really? How?????
OK, maybe not exactly the same - the grill especially, but they are similar enough that when I see an Everest I think of a Discovery...
Regardless, I like the new look of the Everest.

If you've had such success with Ford in the past and have a reliable dealer...why change?

Do you have a BA in any subject? That would be more prized than a TEFL cert.
I got my job having both and zero teaching experience (besides the TEFL training). They didn't care at all about the TEFL cert - only about the BA.

OK, so most of the time you don't really need 4WD. I'm wondering how often the average person encounters something more than a sedan can offer. What would you say the percentage is? 60on-road/40off? 70/30? 85/15 99/1?
