  1. Wow guys, this is all really useful info. I've been looking for a pair of shoes for months! I'm gonna try out all the places listed above.

And sawatdeeyesitsme thank you so much for telling me that New Look delivers internationally, that's like my favorite shop in the world and I had no idea!!! :)

  2. Hey, check out www.chickynet.com which is a website to meet other girls in Thailand. There is a group for Pattaya. Also try www.travbuddies.com where you can meet people travelling to Pattaya, and if you're lucky, locals. Both these websites are really cool and really helped me meeting people in Bangkok!

  3. Well, I really did go to Chetta, and now my hair is burnt all down the left side, it's a nightmare. It feels like cotton, looks like cotton, and stands out even more against the rest of my hair that is now, ironically, straight!

I paid 2500 baht for it, and tried contacting them so they could fix it, and after a few attempts and them taking days to reply to one email, they simply stopped replying when we got to booking an appointment.

Here's some advice for y'all: DON'T GO THERE!

  4. Hello all,

I am looking for a houseshare or a flatshare in Bangkok. I'm 23 years old female, and would consider any location close enough to a BTS or MRT. Does anyone reading this know where I can look, or know anyone who is looking for a flatmate?

Maybe this post doesn't belong here, but I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, and last time I posted a topic here I found great, helpful advice!

    Thanks for your help all!

  5. Slip, I live in Lad Prao, yes get her out! How long have you both been here, and why doesn't she get out? Same reason as me? :)

Thank you SBK I will contact her!

And Naddawan that's great I will send you a private message!

Thanks all for your replies, I knew this forum was full of friendly people!

  6. Oh by the way I say farangs because of the language barrier, but of course I'd be more than happy to have meet thai friends if you speak english, since I've been to lame to get roundd to learning thai yet!! :)

  7. Hi everyone! I'm quite new to Bangkok, I came here with my boyfriend a few months ago, and am finding it hard to meet friends here: there doesn't seem to be many foreign girls (at least not as many as guys!!) and most of my colleagues at work don't speak english! I go out sometimes with my boyfriend and his mates, but missing some female company to have some girl time!

Is anyone out there, bored like me, or just likes to meet new people, to do the regular things in life: go out for a coffee, have a girls night out, go and explore ... I miss all that!

    Get in touch ladies :)
