House had a good shake upstairs here In Saraphi.

Yes needs replacement. The gate is over 20 years old and is very badly corroded and the wheels a worn out.

Sliding gate is needed as it fits into a space in the fence and can not swing open.

I need to replace my front sliding gate at my house. The gate is 2 mtr high x 4.5 mtr wide. 

Has anybody  installed one recently and can recommend the contractor. House is in Saraphi.

Are there and present or retired helicopter maintenance people living in here.

I have a 1 year non imm O visa from Penang and when I arrived in Chiang Mai in Oct I was stamped in until Jan. There is no other paperwork in my passport other than the TM7. Does this mean I have to leave the country every 90 days or can I change it to a 90 day reporting visa.

Khun TW just called and my very old twice repaired microwave has broken again. Since i will be in CM next week i will buy a new one. Saw a topic in June about broken microwaves did anyone end up buying a new one. Looking for a convection maybe a Sharp.

Out of 10 friends here are there "now beers" 1 Henieken, 1 Leo, 8 Chang.Chang seem to have a very good distribution system as it seems it is available in any town or villave you pass through on your travels up here in the north anyway.

FYI i work 4 months on and 3 weeks off as a helicopter mechanic in Saudi Arabia so not much chance of drinking too much but most of the other guys quoted pass through every month or so or live in Thailand. Thanks for your concern about my liver and kidneys though.

having lived in Thailand (but working overseas) since 1981 and being an Aussie i have had my share of cold beer. First there was Kloster which slowly dissapeared but a very nice brew of Carlsberg came along which slowly went away and now my favorite beer is CHANG. Out of 10 friends here are there "now beers" 1 Henieken, 1 Leo, 8 Chang.Chang seem to have a very good distribution system as it seems it is available in any town or villave you pass through on your travels up here in the north anyway.

I have a dining table with a deep scratch and a wall unit that needs refinish does anyone recommend a shop for this. (both made in thai).

Plan on building some storage shelves . Where to buy plywood and timber out Hang Dong / Saraphi way.

I have had several documents done at Media Express Translation.

I've had good luck at the translations service just down from the "To Nobody" German restaurant. 

AUA has excellent translators as well but it seems to take quite a while for them to do the work.

Does anybody know a good company that does home renovation / building in C Mai. Some experiences would also help.
