    Confusing in the fact that one says pensions are taxable, but others, such as the tax revenue office say different

    I don't think that is right as they asked their boss, he called someone by phone, they checked all by documents, House lease, passport visa stamp, bank statements, plus the documents for my state and military pension that state how much I receive each month and still said "no tax on pension".

    I have been to my local Tax Revenue office, and they tell me the same as they said last year "no tax retirement". visa, "no tax pension". it is totally confusing!

    It is important to note that these new amendments are only in the drafting stage at the moment and formal approval by the Cabinet and the Thai parliament is required before they can be enacted. This was of September 24TH 2024. has it been passed yet?

    Been to the tax revenue office twice now once last November and once a week ago this year. Both times asked what visa I have, both times told "no tax pension".

    I think you'll find it happens all over the world when it comes to politicians and celebrities. J Savile, G Glitter, and just recently the BBC news presenter caught watching children as young as 7-year-old being raped. Judge gave him a 6-month sentence, suspended for 2 years. If you know the right people you can get away with anything.

    Agree, B30,000 is a lot to someone who has very little. I think the least they could do (those who hired him) is make sure his grandmother is looked after for the remaining years of her life!

    Funny how this comes about 2 months after Thailand was invited on to the European Human rights council. So I guess they have to be seen to be doing something!

    Reading the charges, nothing about threatening a civilian with a firearm. He pointed the weapon directly at the doorman ( i assume it's a doorman) several times.

    Isn't News South wales in Australia????????? How did they get British, Is your nationality on the drivers licence now???? I have only had a Thai drivers licence for the past 20 years. last UK drivers licence I had was 25 years ago.
