  1. I was thinking the same about Laos Christmas tourism maybe severely hit. is getting similar to the cyanide killings in Thailand. R.I.P to all the victims take at such a young age, and condolences to all the families.
  2. I was thinking the same. No reference if either party had driving licences and/or insurance. If the russian was entering a main road from a side street, I would say 100% his fault.
  3. Ha. yes! brings back a time when on the LTR visa it said I cant remember how much it was back, but let's say it stated B600,00 in the back OR B50,000 a month income from overseas, the guy had 500,000 in the bank, The I-O asked why he could not show B50,000 monthly income as well, the guy stated it read B600,000 OR B50,000 a month. The I-O crossed out the OR and wrote AND on the document. Ha!
  4. Yes, true. Future Park post office always want a passport. Rangsit office 3km away never asked for a passport. Same with immigration, one immigration officer wants to see med insurance, another immigration officer doesn't require med insurance.
  5. Yes, last execution was in 2018, but I think this may be carried out because of the number of victims and the victims' families, plus she pleaded "not guilty" Most drug traffickers escape the death penalty because they plead guilty, I am told.
  6. I think they have to require an ID Card at the age of 16 ( not sure if that has changed) If I go to the post office to send a letter overseas, I have to show my passport.
  7. Doesn't it state in the article that on CCTV he was seen "climbing over the rail"
  8. It says he had insurance but not enough to cover the total cost. which would be over 1 million Baht.
  9. It says he had insurance but not enough to cover the total cost. which would be over 1 million Baht.
  10. To try stop underage drinking, but as usual they can't figure it out. Instead of targeting those selling the alcohol to underage customers, with say a B100,000 fine, a year in jail or both they just close it down.
  11. If he is working ( as it sounds like) he doesn't come under that scheme. If he is employed by a school, has a work permit and paying tax the school could claim on their insurance ( can't see that happening for this incident) if they wish or offer to pay a percentage of the medical costs. ( it has been done before)
  12. Mybe Mummy and Daddy buy them the BMW and Mercs
  13. Talking of fraud, why isn't the thai government looking into hospitals double billing foreigners, even when they have fully paid up health insurance? Plus Thai insurance companies who take the money, but then refuse to pay out because they are unable to access home countries medical records dating back to your childhood? I am happy to abide by the law if the law abies me.
