  1. Just glad I went on my German holiday last summer, before the country was over-run with hordes of Muslim terrorists, rapists, and thugs. Really, like who would want to travel there now?

Read over the OP, please. It's about 1 criminal refugee. No reason to generalize.

OK, here we go again the PC people have just entered the ring, even 1 of them thugs is too many, when in a foreign country behave well or get kicked out, but where to and that is now the question

  2. And don't forget that the Australian pension is "means tested", which is absolutely BS because it should be a general pension for each citizen whether rich or poor, If you saved all your life for your pension you are not getting anything, but if you spend it all you are getting the pension, what a lot of bull is that. Australia is going down the drain pretty fast and soon you can not even afford to life in Thailand anymore like a lot of Brits lately realized and they are back home now. The Australian economy is hit by the downturn in China and now they tell you that the low Australian Dollar is good for exporting Australian manufactured goods, what do they manufacture???? If you can dig it ship it that's the truth.r

What a lot of bull so you are trying to tell so if a former politician and getting all the freebies like free travel for life free pensions worth millions of dollars and they deserve a pension on top of that ?

Yes that is exactly what I mean, if you ever paid into a social security system you should be entitled to get money out of the system at your old age whether you are a millionaire or not, but your politicians don't pay into the system, because they have the life pension anyhow paid by the taxpayer and that is the difference.

  3. So why every body complains about Australian pensions? You get your pension

move to Thailand because it's cheaper to live who the hell pays for your pension?

Working people who work now and how much pension do you get from Thailand ?

Not a cent and how many Thai people get pension ?

Sorry but that is just a lot of BS. People live here now because it is more affordable for them to live here instead in their home countries where the rents are just too high, more than 70% of their pension plus costs for heating and higher food expenses, All these people want is a decent income in their old age. I do not get a pension from Thailand and I do not want one, because I never worked here. But why is he Australian Pension means tested, those who saved all their lives do not get it and that is unfair, I am not stopping Thailand from having a social security system. Our living here pays for a lot of wages and bills, so that Thai families can survive, so please get your facts right and do not give me that BS.

  5. I think that it is very strange that an article about cleaning up the sex industry in Pattaya is published in the Phuket News and not in one of our local Pattaya papers. Are they gutless here or themselves too much involved in the sex industry?

I am surprised that nobody so far came up with the idea of arresting and fining the customers (more money-bigger fines) as it is done in some states of the country with the highest moral standards of the world, but maybe they are coming up with that a bit later. After the arrest, take a photo, put it in the paper and Good Bye tourist industry. thumbsup.gif

  6. Thaiexpat21: The Philippine government are way, way in front of of some commentators !

    http://www.cfo.gov.p...onals&catid=140

Thanks for the link, very interesting but sorry it is all about money again, although it is only 400.00 Peso. I wonder what other nationals have to do a course before they are allowed to leave their own country. And yes if you ever run into a NBI officer, you will notice how democratic and way, way in front the Philippines are.

  7. And the answer is ?

    Cynical "crap" is extremely unhelpful.

The Philippine immigration officer sets out , very clearly, the steps necessary to enable someone to leave with the minimum of "hassle"

I do not think that it is correct to copy only part of the reply and I still believe that "Freedom of Travel" means something else than what you have in some democratic nations like the Philippines. Don't forget that the GDR "German Democratic Republic" was also a democratic country and they built the German Wall against the "bad people from the west and to protect their own citizens". coffee1.gif

  8. No the answer is to have an office before you go to the airport and in some big cities, where you can show all your travel documents without the flight tickets or maybe only a reservation, than it is checked and you are getting a signed travel permit, with photo etc and than you go to the airport. Would that be so difficult???? The way it is said it is not clearly set out, because it leaves it to the decission of the individual immigration officer at the airport. I wonder what citizens of other countries with valid passports would say to such a treatment. coffee1.gif

  9. "It" is done to prevent / reduce people trafficking !

    Look here at post 17

    http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/664645-thai-visa-for-my-filipino-girlfriend/?hl=+visa%20+for%20+filipino%20+lady

Which explains the issues and gives detail of the requirements for a young woman to leave the Philippines.

That is only typical beaurocratic crap. I am not denying that there is people trafficking, but the people behind it are not getting caught, like the people smugglers to Australia. This selection and interrogation is done on orders from the US government, NGO's and other governments, so that the philippine government is showing some response and is getting foreign aid.bah.gif

I read the reply from the so called BI employee and found it interesting, so than why is the BI of the Philippines not checking the travel requirements of a Philippino citizen, before they book the flight, so that you do not loose the flight costs?????? thumbsup.gif Maybe that would be a good idea for the immigration department!!!!! But that would be too easy!!!!

  10. They don't allow women under 30 to leave the country alone ? What a retarded state !

That's not true. Actually they allowed to travel even under 30. The first time I travelled other countries alone I was 24 years old as long as the traveller have money to show and good job so they can prove to the immigration that they are capable to travel.

But they have to proof that they have a good job in the Philippines, so that they have a reason to go back. Having babies there to go back to or only money does not help, it is called "Freedom of Travel" philippine style.

  11. Thanks Guys,

Dont know what to do, because I realy dont want to pay another airfare just to bring her back personally.

    Aaaarrrrrrr

Fly in and out of Clark - about 1/2 cost.....

Sorry but this is only 1/2 the truth.

Out of Manila you have Philippine Air (full price), Thai Air (full price) and Cebu Pacific (budget carrier, same price like from Clark).

Out of Clark you have Cebu Pacific (budget carrier), Tiger Air (budget carrier)

The Immigration in Clark is much stricter than in Manila, because many of the girls flying out of Clark are working in the Angeles area and that is also known to the immigration officers, so their standards, and inquisitions are higher and tougher. facepalm.gif

  12. I am living here with a Filipina and her daughter. It is the daughter from my wife's first marriage and my wife is still married in the Philippines and we are working on the annulment, but it is very costly and time consuming. So at the moment my wife is bigggybacking as a guardian for her daughter. She has to show 400.000.00 Baht in her bank account and than we get a yearly extension, by showing the documents from my daughter's enrollment at school. What everybody else said is right, it is very difficult for Filipinas to leave the country, because they are stopped at the airport by the Philippine Immigration. The easiest airport in our oppinion is Manila, but you have to show return tickets, which you have to buy before you go to the airport and the cheap tickets are non-refundable. If you want to avoid that you have to buy a fully refundable ticket for her and than see what will happen, but it will be expensive. thumbsup.gif
